Teen Wolf:Season 5, Episode 6

Previously On Teen Wolf

After being bitten on the shoulder by Donovan's hand that had teeth, Stiles runs in the library of his high school, with Donovan close behind him. Stiles gets caught and tries to climb the scaffolding within the library and pulls a pin that makes a bunch of metal bars fall on top of Donovan impaling him to the floor and killing him instantly.

The group are in possession of The Dread Doctors book and made copies for everyone else to read so they all know what to expect to happen. Scott finds out the author of the book is a man named Valack and him and 3 of his friends go and visit Valack at the Echo House to find out the truth and the mysteries being the book he had written.

Lydia & Stiles are talking to Valack about the book and finding out once you have you have read the it, it makes you see more, opening your eyes to things you haven't seen before. The conversation is interrupted when The Dread Doctors barge into the Echo House Asylum and ripping out Valack's third eye he had in his forehead, with Valack cracking the prison glass with Lydia's recorded scream she did for him earlier.

When most of the gang is of to find out what the book has install for them, Malia is left alone and Theo offers her to drive his car, since he thinks she needs more practice in driving. Malia is driving his car and gets a terrible flash back to when her mother got killed by the Desert Fox, crashing the car in the woods and making Malia wonder more about the death of her mother.

Episode 6 - Required Reading

Book Club

The whole packed are gathered around a table which has copies of The Dread Doctors book on it, with the group discussing that some of them might get in to trouble when they read it, "Like Judy...In chapter 11" says Malia since she found the book first and read most of it already. Lydia tells the group she's been having visions of The Dread Doctors, telling the group she needs to find out if they've done anything to her and goes to read the book, with the rest of them following her lead. (Once reading the book, they will obtain memories to see what The Dread Doctors have done to them) "Can anyone feel anything yet?" Scott asks his fellow book club pack but they respond with answers that has nothing to do with the book like, "Tired" & "Hungry." Theo was looking around the room like he's read the book before, seeing if they respond to the book and Kira is struggling to read the words, with them going blurry within her vision.
In the kitchen is Stiles and Malia making coffee for the group and Stiles is rubbing his shoulder where Donovan bit him with his teeth covered hand. "What did you do to you shoulder? I can smell the blood," says Malia. With Stiles replying with a lie that his engine hood of his van fell on him and his heart beat is racing faster as Theo can hear him from in the next room. Theo is still ears dropping on Stiles and Malia as Malia explains about her vision to Stiles, that it felt like she was in the vision rather than a movie playing in her head. Theo turns around as Malia catches him not reading his book and turns around seconds after she see's him, getting some useful information from the two of them in the kitchen.

I can imagine how intense it would be gathering all your friends to read a book that could potentially get you in major trouble with The Dread Doctors because they could get some flash back memories of some kind and if Lydia has been targeted by The Dread Doctors, she will find out once after finishing the book. If they did do something to Lydia, i think it would be a interesting story to follow and see her cope with finding out the truth, maybe give her the chance to do some investigation work of her own on The Dread Doctors.

As for Theo ears dropping on Stiles and Malia's conversation in the kitchen, i think he's trying to gather some information about the group so he can tell The Dread Doctors about them and what their next move is, which is pretty smart and the only way The Dread Doctors can have a chance of winning against Scott's pack. It's all a matter of time till one of them finds out the truth about Theo and i think it will either be Stiles or Malia, as both of them have their suspicions of him already.

Lydia's Vision

Lydia is the first victim of having a flash back moment as she follows someone out of class as the other girl is waiting for Lydia's mother Natalie for school counseling. Lydia asks her if she's OK, while the other girl shows her a handful of her own hair, saying its "Stress" and Lydia goes over to check the bold patch above the girls ear. As she looks at the girls patch above her ear, Lydia's vision turns the patch in to a bloody hole and makes a noise as if she's been winded in the stomach and collapses on the floor.
Credit to MTV
Lydia can hear voices saying "I told you to stay in the car" and the sound of a drilling noises, with her waking up in a unknown place as she walks through the hallway as a little girl. She turns to one of the rooms to her left where she hears the sound of a drill and see's her mother saying "Why would you do this to yourself" as she looks at the dead body in the bathtub where the women had killed herself by drilling a hole in her own head. Lydia's mother turns to Lydia and yells at her "I Told you to stay in the car, Lydia! I said stay in the car!"
Credit to MTV
The dead women in the bathtub wakes up, telling Lydia "Their coming Lydia, their coming for all of us." Scott is there telling Lydia to breath and asking her if she's OK, with her waking up and realising where she is, telling Scott she's OK. Scott and Theo ask her what she remembered, telling them that she saw her grandmother and when she's about to explain, her mother runs in to the room to see if she is OK, telling her that she only fainted and she's fine.

Well that was rather a strange flash back if you ask me, i was totally expecting it to be about The Dread Doctors but got a whole different story from Lydia's vision. It was quite a traumatic scene to watch, seeing someone be killed by drilling a hole in their own head and waking up to tell Lydia a message, which could mean a couple of things. The message itself could be about The Dread Doctors themselves or something bigger and more dangerous than The Dread Doctors, maybe something their trying to make to fight against Scott's pack? Also, we find out the dead person in the bathtub was Lydia's Grandmother and letting us know that the visions won't just be about The Dread Doctors but hidden memories from their subconscious minds.

Scott's Vision

Scott's about to sign his Drop form so he can drop out of one of his classes with him saying to his teacher "It's to much time, to much work" with a response from his teacher "To be a veterinarian?" and Scott begins to struggle in breathing, telling him that he shouldn't drop out of class. He starts to have fragments of flashback images of a hand covered in blood while holding a dog lead, a hospital bed being toed away and of a barking dog attacking something. His teacher asks him "Whats happening?" "I think... i'm having an asthma attack," says Scott.
Credit to MTV
He is now standing inside the emergency room in the hospital, seeing a younger version of himself being toed away by doctors and nurses in a hospital bed. He can see his mother trying to comfort him while he lies in the bed, holding the dogs collar lead that's covered in blood and asking "Where's Roxy?" With Scott still in the school class room struggling to breath and lying up against the teachers desk. "Scott you need to breath" his teacher tells him. Liam who is practicing Lacrosse outside, hears that Scott is in trouble and runs in the school with his inhaler, snapping Scott from his vision by glowing his wolf eyes towards Scott so he can breath in the inhaler.
Credit to MTV
Another Childhood memory we see as Scott see's himself as a young kid and asking what happened to his dog, not given any major clues on what actually happened with Scott and the dog but it must of been a bad experience for Scott, since it did make him have an asthma attack. Maybe his dog was protecting Scott from something and ended up dying in the process, with Scott getting injured as well. It was a tough one to try figure out, since there wasn't much information from the flashback. I'm also thinking that Scott might question his wolf-like ability because he looked scared and goes in to a deep thought about his inhaler he used to use, maybe thinking he wouldn't want to go back to that life again of being weak and vulnerable, thinking what else The Dread Doctors might do to him next.

Stiles's Vision

Getting in the empty hospital elevator is Stiles, who is about to meet Lydia who he left in the basement. He can see a reflection of a women standing behind him in the elevator doors and she walks out, with him following her down the hospital hallway. "Mom," he whispers to himself, with him carrying on following her to the roof of the hospital. "Mom, what are you doing?" he asks her as she is stand over the edge of the roof and with his father comes running in from behind him. Stiles's father asks what she is doing on the roof with her replying "I couldn't stand to be in that room, not with him looking at me like that, hes trying to hurt me." Mr Stilinski explains to his wife that she needs to remind herself she has Dementia and it's a disease that makes her think of all kinds of stuff.
Credit to MTV
She turns around at Stiles, who is 10 years old in the vision and yells at him, "Stop it, Stop looking at me!" While she runs towards him and attacks him, slapping and scratching him till he falls to the ground, with her on top of him who is still attacking him. Stiles wakes up from being attacked by his mother but wakes up being attacked by a Chimera at the same time and Theo comes out from no where to save Stiles from being killed and fights off the Chimera, having an equal fight until Theo grabs the Chimera around the neck and rips out his throat, letting him choke on his own blood on the floor. "Stiles, you can't say anything, please, don't say anything," Theo asks. "Why not?" Stiles replies, "Because i never said anything about Donovan."
Credit to MTV
Dun, Dun Duuuuuun! Wow, what a great vision and fight scene. Did Stiles already know about his own mother thinking that he wanted to kill her and that she had dementia? If not he must have a lot of questions for his dad, i mean i would anyway. It also makes me think if maybe his mother committed suicide or ran away so she didn't have to put up with being paranoid with her own son but if you're reading this and know the answer, please let me know!

Also that fight scene was epic with all the fight moves, the chimera getting thrown long distances and sparks flying everywhere from when the Chimera bitten through the power cables on top of the roof. When he ripped his throat out, i thought it was a bit extreme to do that since Scott never really kills his victims unless he really needs to but Theo did it with ease, telling us a lot about his characteristics. Plus he knows about Stiles and Donovan! That's going to be a hard situation to get out of now that Theo knows and could potentially ruin Stiles's life and maybe even blackmail him with this information.

Close Your Eyes

Liam is following Hayden around her workplace like a lost puppy, trying to give her back the money that he owed her for quite some time now. "I know its for your medication, so please take the money," Liam tells her. She refuses and tells him about the medication she's taking for a kidney transplant she had a couple of years ago and Liam thought it was because he punched her in the face by accident a while back. "He never stops bragging about it" as she tells Liam about his boss who is speaking to someone from quite a distance away, with Liam listening in with his wolf super hearing ability. As he listened to the conversation, he looks back at Hayden and tells her to close her eyes for "3 seconds" and she does so after contemplating it. She closes her eyes while Liam grabs a glow stick and snaps it, holding it up to her face and tells her to open her eyes and seeing a different coloured lens inside of her eyes, making Liam have his suspicions about her.
Credit to MTV
This was a short and small scene but i thought it was necessary to include in this post because i thought it could be useful for the remaining episodes. I'm sure loads of Teen Wolf fans was asking the same questions when we saw her eyes shine a different colour. What does that mean? Is she a wolf but doesn't no it yet? Or something else? Or is she going blind? We want answers now!! OK, i'm going a couple of episodes back, to recap and connect the dots together...Remember when she got grabbed by Tracey in the classroom and got her wrist all scratched, with blood everywhere? And then went to the toilet to clean the wound but she didn't appear to have a single mark on her? Well she's obviously a supernatural being of some kind because she healed herself, so i hope that answers part of your wondering minds.

Vision vs Reality

Scott, Malia and Theo are at the hospital and Scott tells them both to go find Stiles when he goes to look for his mother. As soon as he steps out of the elevator, he gets attacked by one of The Dread Doctors and choked up against the wall. The Dread Doctor holds him there as he uses his other arm to electrocute him with his fingertips, while Scott struggles to get his inhaler, dropping it on the floor as he thinks he's in another vision. The Dread Doctor drops him on the floor and smashes the inhaler with his metal boot, picking him up again but even higher and the elevator doors open with Malia standing there with her sharp teeth growling at The Dread Doctor as he chucks Scott to the floor again.
Credit to MTV
She runs from out the elevator to The Dread Doctor and flying-kicks him in the chest, only pushing him back a couple of feet, while Scott's mother Melissa goes over to Scott and gets him inside the elevator. Malia is still fighting off the robotic being as the two of them get to safety and Melissa shouts Malia to come back, "RUN!" she screams and Malia barely gets away with The Dread Doctor close behind her as she runs to the elevator. The elevator doors closes behind Malia as The Dread Doctor was close and nearly gets inside but the door closes in time. "We should of never read that book" says Scott, who's still lying on the ground from being attacked earlier.
Credit to MTV
I don't get why Scott went to get his inhaler, surely you would think it was real since you're physically being lifted off the floor and choked against the wall, that's just common sense Scott. Also why was there only one Dread Doctor? Were the other two on vacation? Or are they making something in their lab and the one Dread Doctor was to distract Scott and the others from finding out? Maybe! I also have another theory, what if when they read the book it made them enter The Dread Doctors world so they can see them more often than usual, basically like a portal to another supernatural world, that would be interesting if that is the case. Plus the only thing that will make me angry is if the only way by killing The Dread Doctors is destroying the book, that's just cheap and unoriginal and the whole season would of been pointless from the very beginning, so fingers cross they do a good job for the remaining episodes like they have done so far.

Conclusion

Without having any major fight scenes accept towards the end of the episode, i would have to say this is one of my favourite episodes and i really enjoyed writing about it. There's a whole lot of new questions that need answering as we see Liam & Hayden get close, What Hayden could possible be, the mysteries of The Dread Doctors book, what the visions mean and what The Dread Doctors initial plan is. This episode gives us a bunch of new questions for the viewers and i can't wait to find out the answers for the remaining episodes.

There were some other scenes in the episode you might think that was useful to know, like Kira's ability makes her unable to read anything, such as The Dread Doctors book which makes me think, is she the solution on ending The Dread Doctor lives but is unaware of her own abilities? Overall this episode was thrilling, intense, creepy and full of new questions for the viewers and i would rate this in the top best episodes for this season so far.

Ted 2

Summary

Months after John's divorce, Ted and Tami-Lynn's marriage seems to be going no where and to fix things, Ted and Tami-Lynn decide to have a baby with Johns help. Things back fire when Ted is named property by the government and loses his civil rights to live like a normal citizen. They all decide to fight in court with a young lawyer to gain his civil rights, but unfortunately Ted's drunken and drugged use past has caught up to him and exploits his opportunity to have civil rights.

One Year Later

One year later from their Marriage, Ted & Tami-Lynn are having a rough time and things aren't looking so good for the couple. They keep fighting and arguing over the smallest things, like the monthly bills since the two of them are finding it hard with their cash flow situation. One of Ted's work colleagues brings up the idea to have a baby to patch things up with Tami-Lynn and so Ted asks her what she thinks of the idea. Both of them decide to have a baby but through the adoption agency because Ted is unable to have babies, because he's a teddy bear of course.

Ted asks John if he would help him ask Sam Jones (The actor from Flash Gordon) to be the sperm donor for his child but tells them both he can't reproduce because his sperm count is 1%, so they come up with a bright idea to steal Tom Brady's sperm in the middle of the night while he sleeps. Ted and John sneak in to Tom Brady's house at night and climb through the window to his bedroom, they're about to the deed but Tom Brady wakes up and chucks them out of his bedroom window, throwing Ted like a football at John and leaving him out of options.

John tells Ted that he would do it for him and Ted is happy to hear him say that because he was going to ask him but he didn't want to upset John since he recently split up with his wife. So the both of them go to the sperm clinic to deposit John's sperm for Ted's future child and when John is off to do his thing, Ted is off speaking to one of the people who work at the clinic and takes him on a inside tour of the sperm lab. John catches up with Ted in the lab and shows him his sperm deposit cup and They're both left alone in the sperm lab as the work colleague gets an emergency call, leaving the two get up to some mischief as Ted throws John a sperm cup full of someones else's sperm and drops it, spilling it all over the floor. When John goes to scoop the sperm off the floor, he slips on the sperm, bringing down the whole shelf full of sperm which lands on top of John.

It was an average start for the movie as it wasn't to funny and not many good scenes i would remember in the future. There was a lot of swear words and time wasting scenes like the introduction credits where Ted is dancing in a Broadway kind of show and it didn't make sense or didn't look good  in any way. What was Seth McFarlane thinking? It did remind me a lot of the opening credits to Family guy, maybe he was going for the same idea? But either way i didn't think it suited the movie.

However, i did love the sperm clinic scene because we see John at the beginning trying to flirt with one of the female colleagues but she has a boyfriend, making it supper awkward and funny to watch John in that situation. The funniest part was when John and Ted are getting in to trouble as John slips on the sperm that brings down a load of other cupful of sperm on top of him and Ted takes a picture of John in the sticky situation he gotten himself into.

The Rookie Lawyer

After Ted finds out that Tami-Lynn can't have any babies due to her heavy drug use before she met Ted and finding out that he has no civil rights and getting a dozen of letters telling Ted more bad news, like his and Tami's marriage isn't legit since the government don't see Ted as a human being. He decides to fight against it and battle it in the court of law to gain his civil rights back that he deserves and to re-marry his girlfriend.

They all decide to go to one of the top lawyer's in the city and they find out they can't afford him since he is the best there is, so the lawyer points them to a very young, none experienced layer for free. They take up the offer because they have no choice and go to visit the young lawyer who just banged her head on the bottom of her desk table as soon as Ted and John enter her office. The young lawyer is Samantha as she introduces herself,  but the two of them are having their doubts as they see how young she is, but as soon as they're about to leave she pulls out a marijuana bong and sparks it up, inhaling the bong.

The three get stoned with Samantha's supply and get down to hard work to study for the legal battle for Ted's civil rights and over the course of hard work and getting high together, the two of them form a close relationship bond with Samantha as you see them all having fun and working hard together.

The day of the court case is upon us and Samantha is prepared as its her first court case battle ever, but Ted and John have faith in her. Samantha is up against the best lawyer who hasn't lost a court case yet and the two of them debate it out, one who is fighting for Ted and the other who is fighting against Ted's civil rights. After Samantha steps up and says an inspirational speech about "justice", they wait for the jury's results of the court and it all goes against Samantha as they lose the court battle and label Ted as property and not labeled as a human being.

The introduction to Samantha was highly entertaining because i wasn't expecting her to spark up a weed bong and smoke it in-front of Ted & John, also it was a funny reaction to see them to walk out of the her office to suddenly staying only because of seeing her smoke some weed. The funniest part for me was seeing John react to the Marijuana as he starts hallucinating and becomes scared and paranoid as we see Ted & Samantha try walking him back home when hes terrified to walk the streets of down town Boston.

I think the court case wasn't so funny as i thought they were trying to make it as serious as they could, but they did try adding some unnecessary jokes in there and it was cheap and not funny at all as it ruined some parts of the scene. For example Samantha asks Ted if he has a "soul" and he starts singing to prove that he has one and the African-American Judge of the court high fives him with respect, to tell Ted that he does have "soul." For me that was pretty stupid & cheap but i can see why some people would like that kind of humor.

Donny & His New Plan

Donny is back, with a new plan and a new hair piece when we see him working as a janitor cleaner at a high end toy company called Hasbro. Donny is cleaning the floors of the companies hallway and see's the boss of the company, which he interrupts him from speaking to his work colleagues by telling him that he changes the urinal cake daily because he appreciates him and thinks of him as a highly important man to the company, the boss Tom Jessup is freaked out by the first introduction from Donny and keeps walking down the hallway with his colleagues.

"Fresh cakes" says Donny as he enters Tom's office later that day with his optimistic look and positive attitude, while Tom is disappointed in seeing him again after he didn't have a good first impression on Donny. "Mr Jessup, i can make this company a billion dollars" says Donny as he walks across the room to Tom and starts to explain to him that if Ted loses his case battle with civil rights, he will become property an Donny could steal Ted with minor illegal action and cut Ted open to see how he works, so the company can make millions of Ted's to sell around the world and make a lot of money. Tom agrees with his idea as long as he has nothing to do with it and Donny does all the dirty work for him.

So the weird and possessive Donny is back and still wants Ted to himself as we just found out in that scene, this also tells the audience the plot of the story and what we can expect from the duration of the rest of the movie. At first i thought it was an easy story plot to come up with but later watching the rest of the film i did enjoy it as it had some entertaining scenes and some valuable humor with in the movie.

With Donny's new plan i am expecting to see him be more aggressive and determined than from the first movie as he failed miserably, making him come up with a better plan to steal Ted. We see Donny spying inside the court case battle for Ted's civil rights campaign, so he has the information for Mr Jessup and so he knows to follow through with the rest of the plan.

After Donny has finished spying on a disappointing ending for Ted, Donny visits Tom for the final time as shows Tom the results of the court case and Tom tells him to capture Ted with out any connection to Hasbro.

Ted Goes To Comic-Con

Ted, John & Samantha go to New York to meet the top civil rights lawyer Patrick Meighan, to see if he will be willing to take the case for them so Ted has a better chance of winning. The journey to New York was disappointing for the 3 of them since Patrick doesn't feel he should take the case because of Ted's and Johns previous influences, when they got arrested for buying weed and some other actions they have done together.

Angry with what seemed to be a waste of time, Ted storms off into New York city and goes inside the ongoing convention Comic-Con. Ted has wondered around the convention for a while now and bumps in to a person who is dressed up as Raphael, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. The turtle knows who Ted is and asks for a picture with him, saying "Great, follow me" and explains to Ted that he's a celebrity and he doesn't want mob people recognising Ted, Ted understands and proceeds that hes about to take a picture with a random guy until he takes of his turtle mask.

Its Donny dressed up as the Ninja Turtle and Ted yells "Go to hell" while he runs under Donny's legs, in to the crowded Comic-Con convention. Ted phones John up and tells him Donny is after him, but hangs up shortly because Donny spots him and begins to chase him again. Donny comes to a shelf full of teddy bears where Ted is hiding and Donny starts to sing his favourite song, which Ted can't resist singing himself, it makes him stand out of the shelf of bears to get caught by singing the rest of the song.

Iv'e always wanted to go to Comic-Con because i'm such a nerd and the atmosphere would be amazing, anyway! This scene is a bit thrilling as we see Ted get chased by his old nemesis Donny and gets caught by the most stupidest way ever by finishing the song off that Donny was just singing. They could of made a better way for getting Ted caught surely? Like climbing on top of the convention props over the crowd and Donny follows him in to a dangerous situation for them both, to eventually catching Ted, and obviously make it funny at the same time.

Ted also runs in to a friends that he invited to the wedding Guy & Rick, a very macho, manly gay couple who go to the convention to bully and laugh at the costumed dressed up nerds that linger Comic-Con. I found this the funniest part of the scene because we see the gay couple bully their way through the convention by wedge-ing, tripping and pushing drinks in to the "nerds" faces. This was a minor and short cut scenes of the gay couple do their antics but was the most funniest out of this scene in my opinion.

 John Die's

When John arrives at the Comic-Con convention, Sam Jones (Flash Gordon) spots him and has a problem with Ted and John because they smashed his car window for not donating his sperm to Ted. Sam Jones tackles John to the ground, pushing a bunch of people in the process of it all. This starts massive brawl with the character costumed people as we see fight scenes with Godzilla, a Transformer, the she Hulk and the predator and John and Samantha run off as Sam Jones gets tackled by some people.

John finds Ted sellotaped to a table, with a knife nearly inserted inside of him, but John gets there in time to stop Donny from tearing Ted apart for the second time. John punches Donny in the face and unties Ted from the table, with the 3 of them escaping from Donny's vicious plan to the convention once more. When they think they have gotten away from the worst, Donny is hiding behind a pole, cutting the string that is holding the Star Enterprise prop above them that swings down at full speed towards Ted, and John runs in and pushes Ted out the way, hitting John at full pelt and injuring John very badly.

Donny gets arrested again, but John is lying in hospital in critical condition. The doctor comes out to Ted, Tami-Lynn & Samantha to tell them all that John didn't makes it, that he died. The 3 of them are all very upset as they enter his room and see John lying motionless in his hospital bed, with Ted crying over his dead body as he talks to him. When all 3 of them are all upset and crying over him, he surprisingly wakes up and shouts " I gotchoo!!" meaning John pulled a practical prank on them all by pretending he was dead. He explains that the doctor was in on the prank as the doctors says "No problem, we're a fun hospital"

When Donny got arrested i thought it was a cheap and time wasteful of a scene to see him get caught so easy like Ted did earlier, while Donny couldn't refuse dancing to his favourite song to make him stand out from the gang of Ninja Turtles who made it harder for the police to find him. It was probably the only way it could of gone, unless he made a dramatic scene by running off and making them chase him, but what is unique about that?

It went from a very upsetting dramatic scene to one of the funniest scenes in the movie, this could of ruined the whole feeling of the scene but it think it played out well, while others might of thought it did ruin the scene. In my opinion i found it hilarious to see John prank them all and make them scared out of their wits, even if it was obvious that he wasn't dead or he would of come back to life like Ted did in the first movie.

My Funniest Scenes

The Liam Neeson cereal Scene

Cookie Crisp In Your Bum Bum Scene

We Could Totally Be Lawyers Scene

Watching Law & Order High Scene

These are the very few of my favourite scenes i found funny. I found the smallest scenes to be the funniest as the ones that tried to hard to be funny, wasn't so funny to watch at all. I Hope you had a laugh watching these videos and please share with me your funniest parts of the movie in the comments below.

Conclusion

From being disappointed by the first movie Ted, i was a little skeptical that the sequel would follow its footsteps. I was wrong as i thought the movie was fun and entertaining to watch, but it did have its moments where i thought it was stupid and cheap canned humor. I thought some of the scenes were a waste of time, the same type of scene you would see in Family Guy and i think if they didn't follow so closely to the same humor they do with Family Guy, then this movie would be a lot better and unique to watch.

However some of the scenes were hilarious, well put together and worth my time watching. I enjoyed the plot of the story as i thought it was better than the first (My opinion) and i didn't miss watching Mila Kunis because i thought she ruined the first movie as i kept on thinking about Family Guy to much, so i'm glad she wasn't part of the sequel. Overall i didn't regret watching Ted 2 but i certainly wouldn't pay money to watch it at the cinema, its the type of movie you would watch on a rainy Sunday morning if you're bored.

Minions

Minions
Summary

The Minions find them self with out a villain to serve and look up to, so the minions fall in to a deep depression, but one minion named Kevin has a plan, along side the teenage minion Stuart and the lovable Bob embark off in to the open world to find a new evil boss to follow.

Thoughts & Experiences

In the beginning credits and intro of the movie we see the cute, yellow beings called Minions as a singular living cell and they evolve in to the cute, silly and dumb beings as we see in the above picture. It just doesn't show us them evolving but how they seek out for the most dominant, evil leader to follow and to look up to. In the process of seeing the minions fail each time they find a suitable leader, they then look for the next one and the same thing happens over and over again.

As time goes by the Minions fall in to a deep depression because they can't find anyone evil enough to fit in with and so one brave Minion named Kevin comes up with a plan to go out in to the world and he wouldn't come back with out the biggest and baddest villain for the Minions to serve. Whilst Kevin announced his plan to the tribe, he needed help, one of the Minions named Bob was very eager to go with Kevin, but Kevin thought that Bob wasn't strong enough for the dangerous journey ahead.

One of the other Minions volunteered with out knowing as he put his hand up whilst he was asleep by another Minion, which he didn't know what he was getting himself into. Kevin now had a companion called Stuart and had to pick one more for the road, so he picked Kevin since he was the only one enthusiastic enough to go alongside them. Kevin felt pride, Stuart felt...Hungry mostly and Bob was frightened of the journey ahead, and they were off to find their new boss!

I loved the beginning opener credits of Minions as it explained briefly how they came along and what their purpose in life was, to find the most meanest, baddest leader there is. It then went through different time periods of the Minions lives and shown us the many great leaders and how they came to fail them as the Minions would accidentally kill them with their stupidity. It was a funny opener for all ages to enjoy and explained the rest of the story with in the first 10 minutes.

Meet The Nelsons

When the Minions decide to leave the city of New York and travel to Orlando for the Villain-Con, where they will find hundreds and hundreds of villains in one place at a time, the Minions decide it will be a good idea to hitch hike to Orlando. After many failed attempts at hitching a ride to the convention, one particular family stop to offer the Minions a ride and they are the Nelsons.

Credit to gmovies,ph
The Minions join the family on the car ride and the 3 yellow naive creatures don't know what they are getting themselves in to, when the Nelson family stop the car and the father, Walter Nelson says "Who wants to stretch their legs?" and when the family are about to leave the car, the whole family put on ski masks and loaded up their guns "OK Nelsons, lets do this!" The Nelson family rob a bank while the Minions are waiting in the car and come back, to drive off like nothing happened, except there is a bunch of police cars after them.

The Nelson's have gotten themselves in to a police car chase, while Walter Nelson is shooting paintball bullets at the police car window screens to blind their vision. Kevin & Stuart who are in the back of the car fighting over a rocket launcher, accidentally shooting the rocket out of the back window, which destroys a telephone post and brings down a water tower that stops the police cars in their tracks, as they all crash in to the destroyed water tower.

Madge Nelson has her suspicions about the minions and asks why they're going to Orlando and they all find out they're going to the same place, Villain-Con.

I thought the Nelson's was a funny asset to this scene as it was very random and entertaining to watch. The whole family was evil, including the their baby as we see the baby rob the bank with the rest of the family and threaten Bob with a hand grenade as a joke.  The way Kevin & Stuart blew up the telephone pole and brought down the water tower with the rocket launcher was the funniest because Walter asks "who did that?" as if he was angry and the two minions both denied doing it, but then says "That was awesome!" and both minions try and get the praise from him.

Meeting Scarlett Overkill

The Nelsons and the three Minions arrive at Villain-Con and part ways as soon as they get inside, so the Minions start to wonder around as they look for a villain to follow. Stuart and Bob are looking around and they are not pleased with some of the wanna-be villains but Kevin stumbles upon the key note speaker convention, staring the star of the show Scarlett Overkill. Scarlett Overkill is the worlds first female villain and is the most famous, ruthless and successful villain there is.

Scarlett Overkill makes a dramatic entrance as she flies on to the stage with her red, rocket powered dress and explains to the audience that she is looking for "new Henchmen" and the 3 minions and the crowed go crazy with excitement. Scarlett then explains who ever can take the trinket out of her hand will be her new henchmen and the audience over crowed the stage as they all try and get the trinket out of her hand, but Scarlett is a excellent fighter and fights off her audience one by one.

The 3 Minions get caught in the fighting and the other villains pile on top of Scarlett with the 3 Minions underneath them all, but Scarlett uses her dress to blast them all off her and she realises she is holding a stuffed bear, Bob's bear in fact. Scarlett can see one of the Minions cough up the diamond and is amazed and also announces to the crowed "Meet my new henchmen, Minions!"

Can you imagine if Villain-Con was real! Maybe it is real but its secret, like the one in the Minions Movie...On a serious note the Villain-Con scene was excellent as we see different types of villains that are entertaining to watch as we see some of them fail with their time machine inventions and we also see Bob try out to be a villain at one of the convention stands, trying to scare the lady with his stuffed bear.

The Mission

The 3 Minions land in England where Scarlett Overkill lives, and gives the Minions a house tour around her Villain mansion. She then explains what the Minions have to do for her as she stops near a painting of Queen Elizabeth and tells the Minions she wants the Queens crown, so she can rule England and if the Minions succeed they will get "Respect, Power and...Banana!"

The Minions are now in Scarlett's husbands weapon laboratory where 'Herb' hands Bob his stretch suit which able's Bob to stretch his limbs at great length, Kevin gets a Lava Lamp that shoots real lava and Stuart gets a Hypno Hat that he can Hypnotise anyone and control them in anyway he wants. Kevin, Stuart & Bob are now well equip and begin their first mission at the Tower Of London, where the Queens Crown is held.

After fleeing the Tower Of London with the Queen and followed by her men, the Minions get chased through the city of London on the Queen's horse and carriage. After the Minion crash the carriage in to a tree, the police are soon behind them and begin to chase the Minions on foot. Kevin and Stuart get caught by the police, while Bob runs on top of a large stone and pulls out a sword from with inside the stone, making the policemen shocked and bow down on their knees, as Bob has become the king of England by pulling out the sword, from the legendary tale of Sword In The Stone.

Being a British person myself i found this hilarious as they joked about our tradition and the royalty ways of life, as we see Bob pull out the sword that made him the new King Of England. Only if being made King was that easy, i would travel down to the "Sword In The Stone" right now and pull it out myself, if it was real that is.

Scarlett Overkill just seen Bob get crowned the new king of England on the news and she wasn't happy at all, so she pays them a visit at Buckingham Palace. Scarlett is angry towards the 3 lovable Minions and tells them that it was supposed to be her dream to become Queen, so Bob comes up with an idea to change the law and to make Scarlett the new Queen Of England. Oh No!

Scarlett, The Evil Queen

Now that Scarlett is about to become the future Queen Of England, she has to get rid of the Minions that she thought betrayed her, so she leads them down to the dungeon that is underneath Buckingham Palace and waiting is a torture room. The Minions don't know its a torture room and begin to have fun on the torture machinery and tools and Herb joins in.

Scarlett and Herb leave the Minions down in the dungeon while they are off to get crowned Queen and king of England. The 3 Minions find a tunnel that leads down in to the sewage system and the 3 of them walk through the dark tunnels until they find a way out that is close enough to Westminster Abbey, where the coronation of the crowning is taking place.

When the Minions arrive at Westminster Abbey the front doors are locked and guarded, so they decide to climb the building to find a way in from the roof. As soon as the Minions find a way in the 3 of them automatically get in a sticky situation as the Bob & Stuart are being chased around by a bee on top of a chandelier, which is unscrewing itself while the coronation is being present below. The Chandelier then falls from the ceiling and lands on Scarlett, but when everyone thought she was crushed to death, her dress saved her and she blasts her way from the wreckage.

Kevin, Stuart & Bob are now being chased through the streets of London by the villains that attended the coronation of Scarlett's crowning. The 3 of them get split up as they get chased and Bob and Stuart get caught by Scarlett as Kevin can see her broadcast it on the news. Its all up to Kevin to come up with a master plan to rescue his two friends and he does! He plans to sneak in to Herbs lab and get loads of weapons but when the villains know hes inside the lab they all try to break inside to get to Kevin. The villains are now inside the lab and Kevin panics and jumps in the nearest machine and he accidentally turns it on, turning him in to a giant Minion.

So Kevin is now a giant... How cool is that?! Nothing can stop him now surely, but saying that he is naive and stupid at times so anything could go wrong.  I was trying to think how could it be possible for one minion to save his friends from two genius villains, it was impossible but now hes a giant i think he has a good chance now.

Minion Vs Villain

Kevin the big lovable giant scares away the villains that just tried chasing him down and off his goes through the city of London, but he gets stuck between some of the buildings because he is a giant of course and things get a littl to tight for Kevin. He eventually squeezes his way through the tall buildings and saves Bob and Stuart from the explosive dynamite that they were just tied to by picking them both up with his giant hands.

Scarlett can see Kevin rescue his friends and this makes her furious with rage and turns her dress in to a huge rocket, she then fly's up in the sky and says to Kevin "That's your plan? Make yourself a bigger target?"  While her dress unravels two lava rockets on each side that aims towards Kevin and his friends.  While the giant Minion fights it out with Scarlett and her rocket powered dress, thousands of  Minions spot Kevin and its the rest of the tribe.

Scarlett can see the giant Minion and the rest of the tribe and turns her dress in to a huge nuclear rocket and shoots it towards the Minions. Kevin catches the rocket with force and fights against it, but then decides to swallow it so it protect the rest of the tribe. Scarlett and Herb begin to fly off as they think they have won but Kevin's giant hand grabs hold of the flying couple and tags along the ride and flies up in to the sky with Scarlett and Herb, to explode over the city of London.

The Minion tribe begin to whelp and cry as they think Kevin has just exploded, but Kevin surprisingly floats down on his giant dungarees that have turned in to a parachute and Kevin is alive and normal sized again.

Well that a funny and random battle from a giant Minion and a supersized dressed Villain. The Minion tribe should of helped i thought to show off more humor of the Minions but i guess the battle was funny enough for me. When Kevin survived the explosion, shouldn't Scarlett and Herb survived as well?

A New Chapter

The Minions have been rewarded by the Queen Of England for their bravery and for saving the nation from Scarlett and her Villain ways but when they think it is all over, Scarlett and Herb come back and steal the Queens crown. When they are running away with the Queens crown in the crowed of people, they suddenly get frozen by an ice gun.

This is where the Minions found their new boss. He was Cunning! He was Evil! He was Perfect! He was... Despicable!

If you have seen the original movies then you know who their new boss is. This gave me goosebumps and it was amazing how he sorted out the best villain in the world as it was nothing and to easy for him to do, which catches the eyes of thousands of Minions.

Conclusion

I really did enjoy watching Minions as it was original and unique and loads of funny scenes. I would say that this movie is more for kids and not for the family as it is very childish with all the baby talking Minions and i think adults would not enjoy or understand the concept of the movie, being an adult myself i did enjoy it but i would't watch it again as i now know it wasn't the type of movie for me.

On the other hand if you're a parent and want to make your child happy, then i would recommend this movie as they would enjoy it a lot!

SPY

SPY
Summary

Susan Cooper has worked her whole life behind the desk for the CIA, working in a partnership with the handsome agent Bradly Fine, being his eyes and ears to help Bradly avoid danger. Sadly, Bradly gets assassinated by a beautiful Bulgarian arms dealer Rayna Buyanov.  Despite Susan's agent training she has never been out in the field or held a gun before and she manages to wiggler her way in to her very first mission as a secret agent, to help capture Boyanov and avenge Bradly.

Thoughts & Experiences

After a long boring day yesterday i was deciding what movie to watch, and i thought i was going to watch Mad Max again because its so awesome, but then i changed my mind to watch SPY. I was a little reluctant as i thought it was going to be another typical wacky comedy and that wasn't the case at all, i was surprised on how well it turned out in the end.

The lead role was played by Melissa McCarthy who plays the behind the desk agent, Susan Cooper. Most of the movies i'v watched Melissa McCarthy in have all been well and funny but none have made a impact on me and made me think that was amazing or funny as hell, they all seem to be the same type of film but with a different story. I think this is because Melissa has created a image for herself, so most of the movies she plays are very similar to each other.

The opening to SPY was full of action straight away, showing us Bradley Fine (Jude Law) do his job as a CIA agent, as he is undercover at a guest party. Bradley creates a diversion at the party to sneak of into the background and goes to a under underground stair way to find his target man at gun point. At this point i'm thinking hes done his job well and its almost completed, but wait... There's more. The two men are now facing each other with Bradly asking the terrorist "where's the nuclear bomb?" and gives him a warning of 10 seconds to tell him or hes dead, but BANG...Bradly's gun shoots the terrorist in the head as Bradley sneezes from allergies he suffers with.

This was so funny because it was so unexpected, i didn't know what just happened as it was so fast of a sneeze reaction. The terrorist was saying "I think i have more than ten seconds," and when Bradley starts to talk again, "Ahhchoo!...Pew," right between the terrorists eyes. He stands there for a while before collapsing, when Bradley realises what just happened he shouts out in anger because that was the only terrorist that had the information he needed for the CIA.

While that just happened he is talking to his partner, the eyes and the ears for his safety, Susan Cooper. Susan Cooper is telling Bradley that she put his allergy medicine in his coat pocket and says "i herd you sniffle before, so its blood on my hands." Susan then guides him out of the armed building to safety and praise each other in to their ear pieces.

Random but very funny opening to SPY and a good way to introduce the roles and the characters of the movie, making the viewers & i have a very good first impression.

Bradley Fine is now on his 2nd mission to get the Bulgarian women named Rayna Boyanov (Rose Bryne). Bradly is wondering around a house looking for Rayna but its deserted as no one is around, but as he notices this, two men come from behind and Bradley takes them out with his agent trained combat moves. When Bradley is showing off to Susan in front of the mirror, Rayna already has him at gun point which leads to Bradley's death. As Rayna shoots and kills Bradley, she speaks to his camera which Susan is watching on the other side and Rayna names all of the undercover agents, blowing their secret identity.

The thing i didn't like about this scene was i thought it was a bit to obvious on what Bradley's plan was, but i wont get in to that. I think this because his hidden camera that Susan looks through is getting connection problems so she cant see properly & at the time of Bradley's death we actually don't see him dying, we just see and hear the gun shoot at him, initially making the audience think he's dead, but is he?

Now all of the secret agents are sitting round a table at the CIA headquarters, discussing what to do next now their identity is not a secret anymore. Rick Ford (Jason Stathem) is among the secret agents who has been identified and is very upset, screaming profanities towards his boss and fellow agents around the table. The agents are trying to come up with a plan but unable to since they have no way of getting close to Rayna as she knows who they all are, accept from Susan Cooper. Susan comes up with an idea to go out in the field as a secret agent so she can revenge her friend/agent Bradley Fine. This makes Rick angry as the boss is considering it and he quits his job (This leads him to be a rogue agent) and storms out.

Jason Statham's character Rick Ford literally had me laughing all the way through this scene as you couldn't take his character serious because hes always swearing and coming up with stupid scenarios to catch Rayna. Rick Comes up with a plan to go in to the "Face off machine" to change his identity but it was a joke and he didn't know that the machine isn't real.

Rick ford quits and this makes him a rogue agent further in to the movie, this leads to Susan to become a real agent and its hilarious because she hasn't been out in the action before,  let alone shoot a gun.

Favourite scenes

one of my favourite scenes is where she is discussing with her boss, and she is handed a new identity for her mission. Some of the costumes/wigs are funny and entertaining for the viewers to enjoy and to laugh about.

The first fight scene Susan gets her self into is probably the funniest part of the movie for me as she kicks the bad guy between the legs, making him stab him self and falling off a balcony. As she sees him on the ground, she throws up vomit and it lands all over the dead guys body and face, she drops the knife that lands in to his chest and finally faints to the ground.

Susan Cooper is on a epic car chase, well a scooter chase as she chasing a car through the city of Rome on a scooter. She is chasing and shooting the car, almost loosing it as she is blocked off by road works, until she sees a ramp that leads to the other side of the road work.

Susan goes for the jump in epic slow motion and lands in wet cement on the other side of the road works. Now she is driving awkwardly slow through the cement while all the angry builders shout at her for ruining their hard work.

can you imagine doing that awesome jump and then to land in wet cement to ruin your jump. Any way this part was funny because Susan's face says it all on how awkward it is.

Conclusion

I expected to have a typical Melissa McCarthy movie & i think it was a typical McCarthy movie as its similar to some of the movies she has already done, like Heat & Identity Thief. I like her similar movies but i would say this, don't expect it to be any different from her previous movies.

Jude Law did an average job on acting, nothing to serious but he was very funny and entertaining to watch, something different from the actor that i liked. Also Jason Statham didn't have much acting to do with the movie but i would honestly say he was the funniest person out of them all, with his one liners, swear words and his ego that you cant take very seriously.

Overall i liked the movie as Melissa McCarthy was her funny usual self, the other two actors were funny and some of the scenes were hilariously fitting towards the story line, so i would recommend this movie.
