Movies To Watch On 4th Of July

Movies To Watch On 4th Of July

Red Dawn

Summary

A small city of Spokane is awakened by a North Korean invasion. Marine veteran Jed Eckert and his younger brother, Matt, escape with a group of friends to a isolated cabin in the woods, where they witness the execution of their on father. The brothers reunite with their friends to form a guerrilla resistance group "The Wolverines," to drive the North Korean invaders away from their home.

Iv'e watched this movie more than once and i think its a little bit underrated as it is very entertaining and action packed with amazing fight scenes and gun fights through out the movie.

Lincoln

Summary
As the civil war continues to rage across America,  president Lincoln struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield as he fights with many of his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves.

The film is very political and debate-full on many parts of the film but its also a very passionate movie as we see president Lincoln go through some very low points and high points in his life. Also 3 time Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis is just amazing in this movie and deserved the Oscar that who won for it.

Inglorious Basterds
Summary
A young Jewish women sets out to plot a revenge after she witnessed the slaughter of her family by the Nazi's. She plans to gather a Nazi attendance at the local theater for the premier of a German film she has organised. The event has gathered the attention of the "Basterds," a Jewish-American Guerrilla soliders that will cross paths for a fateful evening that will shake the very annals of history.

Inglorious Basterds isn't the type of movie for the faint hearted as it is very brutal, gruesome and gritty in some scenes, but overall the movie is very enjoyable to watch and humorous in some cases, that's if you have a sick sense of humor like me.

Independence Day
Summary
On the 2nd of July, communications systems are sent into the chaos by a strange atmosphere interference. They soon learn that the military that a numerous of huge objects are flying towards planet Earth. They then find out that they are alien life form and try to communicate with them but it goes no where. The aliens plan to attack major points on planet Earth and doing so they kill millions of people in the process and the survivors devise a plan to attack back.

What's 4th of July without watch Independence day? What a legendary movie with a horrific twist in the mix. This movie shows people surviving and overcoming the pressure of a highly threatening attack from out of space.

Pearl Harbor
Summary
Pearl Harbor is a classic tale of romance set during the war that complicates everything. Rafe and Danny become army air corps pilots and meet Evelyn, a navy nurse. Rafe fall head over heels and next thing Danny & Evelyn are hooking up. Rafe volunteers to fight in Britain and Evelyn and Danny get transferred to Pearl Harbor. While Rafe is in Britain fighting, there is a air raid in Pearl Harbor and makes everything go in to chaos mode.

If you like Romance but also love war movies, then this is the perfect movie for you to watch. It's very emotional as we see a lot of aggression between the two friends who both like the same girl and a lot of action bombing scenes on the attack of Pearl Harbor.

The Patriot
Summary
After proving himself on the battlefield in the middle of the French & Indian war, Benjamin Martin wants nothing more to do with such things, preferring the simple life of farming. But when his son Gabriel enlists  n the army to defend their new nation, america, against the British, Benjamin returns to his old life to protect his family from British tyranny.

One of the most passionate and sad movies i have ever seen and i have seen a lot of movies, so that's saying something. It's kind of like Braveheart but with a civil war twist to it and played by the same actor, Mel Gibson, and if you know how passionate he was in Braveheart, you should watch him in The Patriot.

American Sniper
Summary
Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle's pin point accuracy saves hundreds or even thousands of lives on the battlefield and turns him in to a legend. Back home to his wife and kids after four tours on of duty, however, Chris finds that it is the war he cant leave behind.

Another gritty, eye opening movie that i loved as it reminded me of a modern day version of Enemy At The Gates. Enemy At The Gates was a world war movie about a man who became a hero by being accurate with his sniper rifle gun, but with American Sniper, it tells a true story of a brave man who became a living legend but ended in one of the worst ways possible.

Forrest Gump
Summary
"Stupid is as stupid does" is what Forrest Gump hears through his childhood, but not as smart as the people he meets along the way in his life. Forrest is thrown in to some scary, crazy and downright incredible situations , rubbing shoulders with great historical figures, escaping many dangers. His giant heart and never fading love for his lifelong friend Jenny take him on a journey where he learns what his destiny is.

Every time i think of this wonderful movie i always think of the quote "Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're gonna get." It such a simple but very true quote and i love it! Forrest Gump is funny, emotional in all ways, a learning process and a great journey to follow as we see Forrest embark on a weird and wonderful one of his own.

Fury
Summary
April 1945, as the allies make their final push in the European theatre, a battle- hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy command a Sherman tank and his five men crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered, outgunned and with a rookie soldier  thrust in to their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

Fury is sort of like Inglorious Basterds but with huge fighting tanks and a lot more action, and played by the same actor Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt has a line of great actors in his war platoon such as Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and Jon Bernthal. This is not a movie you want to miss on such a passionate day such as 4th Of July.

Saving Private Ryan
Summary
Followed by the Allie invasion of Normandy, two brothers lay dead in the wake on the onslaught. Meanwhile, in New guinea, a third brother has been killed fighting the Japanese. After learning the fourth brother is missing in the French countryside, a rescue mission is in order to find the young soldier and return him home safely.

Saving Private Ryan is one of the most iconic, legendary war films to every grace the movie screens. Tom Hanks plays Captain Miller who leads his men in to battle while trying to find and rescue the fourth brother, Private Ryan. The movie is a epic journey across the battlefield and shows the strength and compassion of men who are desperate to succeed in finding Private Ryan.

Conclusion

Please forgive my ignorance as i don't no much of 4th Of July as i'm from England but i thought i would put this list together for you Americans on the other side of the pond.

Not all of these movies will be related to the celebrated day of 4th Of July but they all stand for the same things as each other, which is Passion, Bravery, Fighting, Survival, Compassion, History and to remember the roots where it all began. I think these movie will be great to watch on the celebrated day and i hope you enjoy your 4th Of July and stay safe.

Scream: Season 1, Ep 1

Scream

Summary

What seems to be a innocent prank that ends up as YouTube viral, leads the teenagers of Lakewood as a catalyst of murders that opens up a window to the towns troubled past.

That Drew Barrymore Scene

Do you remember the Drew Barrymore scene from the original first movie, where she was making popcorn and the killer would phone her up and ask her "Whats your favourite scary movie?" To eventually torment her by asking her a bunch of Horror movie related questions and if she gets it wrong her boyfriend would die and if she got it right...Well her boyfriend would die. The killer would tease her on where he would be hiding and after killing her boyfriend out in her backyard, the killer starts to chase down Drew Barrymore and "Gut her like a fish" before hanging her in a tree where her parents would find her.

The opening scene to the adapted Scream TV series is the remake of that scene but with a few changes from the original scene.

Nina & her boyfriend are in his car talking about the YouTube video they did as prank but Nina gets out as she is at her house. Her boyfriend really wants to go in with her since her parents aren't home and Nina doesn't allow him, which makes her home alone. Nina is now getting ready to go in her hot tub but she is interrupted by weird text messages which makes her think that her boyfriend is inside with her playing a prank, so she goes around the house looking for him.

Nina is now in the hot tub and still getting text messages that she think is her boyfriend. She sees one of the lights go off inside the house and asks him if it that was him and she gets a reply making sure that she thinks it's him, but actually not saying it is him. Nina is relaxing in the hot tub and gets a last reply from who ever is sending the text, saying "Heads up" and something splashing in the tub next to her, so she slowly gets a closer look and she realises its her boyfriends beheaded head.

Being terribly frightened of what Nina just witnessed, she runs out of the tub to call 911 on her cell phone but is unable to and she runs around the garden patio doors trying to get inside. As she is trying to get inside, there is a reflection in the window of the killer and he slashes her back, making Nina fall to the ground with blood pouring down her. She then gets up but the killer grabs her from behind to slice her neck wide open and then chucks her in the pool to drain out.

Her parents get home the next morning not knowing what had gone on the night before and walk through the front door, shouting Nina to let her know they're home. The mother goes out back to see a trail of blood that leads to the pool to finally see her daughter lying in a pool of her own blood.

I don't think this scene could of been any better or worse, why? You ask, i'll tell you why. If they played the scene the exact same as the movies original, then it would tell the viewers that its just going to be a TV series that is just copying the movie, also they didn't add to many hidden Easter eggs in the scene to make it seem so familiar to the movie. The very different changes played out  well for the opening scene, but you knew at the same time that they wanted to portray the Drew Barrymore scene with their own uniqueness to killing Nina.

The Legend Of Brandon James

A lonely kid with a deformed face is hidden from society as he spends his days living in the basement of his parents house. Brandon developed a crush on a girl named Daisy and Brandon would spend his day sending love letters and heart carvings to her. He gathered the nerve to talk to Daisy at the Halloween dance at school but Daisy thought he was wearing a normal Halloween masks, until he took it off to show her his deformed face, ending Brandon to get beaten up by a gang of kids that thought he was a monster.

After a lifetime of torment, Brandon ended up killing 5 students before he was done, when there was a manhunt to bring him down at the lake where Daisy agreed to meet him. Brandon hands over his carved heart necklace to Daisy before getting shot in the back and lands in the lake, to never to be seen again.

To this day no one knows what happened to Brandon or who Daisy is...

If Brandon isn't the ghost-face killer i think its very smart to add a 2nd killer in the mix of the story to make things more interesting and entertaining to watch. I hope they keep doing flashbacks to the past, to reveal more clues about Daisy & Brandon.

A Present From Brandon?

Emma Duvall just opened the front door to find a brown paper covered box sitting on the front porch of her house, so she takes it to her mother and asks who Daisy is, but her mother replies "It must be for someone else." Emma leaves to meet her friend who is waiting outside in the car and this gives Margaret AKA Daisy a good time to open the box. Inside the brown box lies a message that says "Emma looks just like you at that age." And Margaret looks inside the box and sees a bloody heart lying inside of it.

Now we know who Daisy is, she is the mother of the main character of the series, Emma. Emma doesn't know about her mothers past but i'm pretty sure that will all spill out eventually.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Remember in the original movie where the teenagers threw a huge party at the end of the movie but everyone was being killed off one by one? Well in this next scene is pretty similar but accept no one dies or finds out who the killer was.

The teenagers of Lakewood throw a house party for the death of Nina, everyone from high school turns up and are having a good time with out being murdered. For a change! Drinks start to flow and conversations get deeper as we see Emma find out that her boyfriend slept with Nina before she got murdered. This makes her very upset and storms off from the conversation and ends up in the green house with new boy in town, Kieran. The two start talking about how Kieran's mother and step dad died and now has to live with his real dad. As Emma feels sorry for him and looks up into his eyes, the two start to kiss each other.

Well she moved on quick!

Emma's friend Brooke was the one to spill the beans about her boyfriend sleeping with Nina and she wanders off to the garage as she can see the light being turned on and off. When she's inside the garage, the lights are all off and she can see one of the car doors is open, so she closes it but she suddenly hears a metal dragging sound as if something was picked up. Brooke begins to run towards the garage door and bumps in to Emma's boyfriend, Will. She tells Will that someone is in the garage with her but he can't see anyone as he turns the lights on. In the process of talking to Brooke, he threatens her to never get in-between him and Emma again or he will break her.

I'm unsure if this was another hidden Easter egg to make us think back to the movie where Sidney's friend gets murdered in the car garage by trying to fit through the dog flap that is on the automatic doors. As she tries to go through the small dog flap, the killer opens up the garage door with her still half way through the flap, to eventually crushing her to death.

Noah is best friends with the girl who had the video prank done to her and the two are at the party. Noah is the movie geek of the series, the same as the character from the movie, Randy Meeks. Noah begins to talk about how the party they are all at would be a good setting for a murder scene and then he starts to slobber his words to fall asleep as he is to drunk.

He finally wakes up half naked in the middle of the lake on a floating boat dock, he screams for help but no one can hear him as he is to far away from the house. Noah decides to get in the water and swim back towards the house party, he is scared doing so because its the same lake where Brandon James got killed by the police. When hes swimming towards the house he feels something pull him down in to the water and he swims faster towards the house to be dragged out by Kieran. He explains to everyone that he felt like he was being pulled under by someone but Emma can see fishing line around his feet, making everyone think it was his imagination playing mind tricks on him.

Was it Brandon James trying to pull him under water? I would of punched who ever put me on the floating dock because you can't be doing things like that! I'm a bad swimmer as it is and i don't want to be swimming when i'm half drunk thanks!

Conclusion

I think people would enjoy the series if they didn't compare it to the movie so much, i mean who wants to watch a series to be exactly the same as the movie? You will know what happens in every scene if it was the same. I think people should give the benefit of the doubt to the TV series to be able to enjoy it, like i did.

I like how they kept the persona of some characters from the movie in the series, but gave them different back stories to make it more original. Overall i liked the first episode of Scream and i am intrigued on how the rest of the series plays out.

Teen Wolf: Season 5, Episode 2

Teen Wolf

Episode 2 - Parasomnia

The Dreams Are Real

The 2nd episode of Teen Wolf is upon us and it begins with a new face we haven't seen before, a girl who is talking to the school council about her night terrors. She goes on about how she usually doesn't remember them and she starts to explain one particular night terror she has.

She's about to go to sleep, but shes tossing and turning as the rain is hitting the window pretty hard. This makes her look up to her ceiling window and she can see a crow knocking on the window above her, so the girl turns and looks back and its gone. As she looks towards a different window she is startled as she thought she seen a figure looking at her in the window but eventually the figure also disappears. The girl slowly walks up to the window to make sure it is locked and she gets back in to bed, hesitating switching her bedside light off. When she finally gets back in to bed she can feel a breeze coming from some where and she can see her ceiling window is wide open, this makes her get a chair to climb on to shut the window. The window is finally shut but a hand grabs the chair from underneath her and falls.

She explains to the school council women that her father found her beside her bed, next to the collapsed chair. The Council women doesn't really believe her so the poor girl gets up to leave for her next class, but as soon as she gets up, she starts breathing heavy and projects black vomit all over the desk and in that black vomit is a crows feather. The school council women and the girl look very worried because none of them have seen this happen before.

EWWW! What was that poor girl been eating? A Crow for breakfast? Also that dream was pretty creepy if you ask me. If i was in that situation i would of ran down stairs or even outside the house. Surely the night terrors must mean something to the girl?

Stiles Wont Trust

In the last episode of Teen Wolf we see a new character and maybe a new wolf to Scott's pack, Theo. Stiles is having problems in trusting Theo as he is very protective of his friends and Scott. Stiles and Scott take the time to talk to Theo in the changing rooms and question him on how he got turned in to a wolf, so Theo starts explaining his wolf turning process.

Stiles and Scott are a little skeptical about Theo's explanation on his wolf turning process, so Theo starts to talk about his 4th grade experience with Scott. He explains on how he had asthma and had to go to the school doctor, that Scott made sure that there was nothing to be afraid of, since Scott had asthma when he was younger.

If i was Stiles i would be cautious of Theo as well, because him and the gang have been through a lot and Scott should understand where stiles is coming from.

No one believes in Stiles that something is up with Theo and that he shouldn't be trusted. This makes Stiles go in to full investigation mode and no one will help him because they all think hes crazy. The only person to help Stiles is the young and naive wolf Liam. Stiles & Liam begin to follow Theo in to the woods as they think he is up to something suspicious, but only to find out that he is visiting the spot where his sister died, since Liam can pick up his emotional state and feels that Theo is grieving.

I'm still suspicious of Theo to be honest because hes to quiet and mysterious for my liking. He's also to nice and polite to people, making me think hes trying to hard to fit in and throw peoples judgement off him to make them think he's a good person.

A Helping Hand

When Scott finds out that Stiles followed Theo in to the woods and now thinks Stiles is in the wrong, Stiles feels embarrassed and angry at the same time. Stiles feels embarrassed and angry because Scott told him to trust Theo and give him the benefit of the doubt, which Stiles never did. While being angry at himself and Scott, he ends up hitting his broken down car very hard and ends up hurting his own hand. Scott looks at Stiles as if to say "What are you doing?" but actually heals Stiles's hand by covering it with his own, taking the pain and the injuries that was conflicted on Stiles's hand after punching his car.

I liked this scenes because it was very passionate and Stiles feels like hes losing his best friend to Theo, because Scott wont listen to Stiles, but then Scott heals Stiles's hand as if he is saying "I'm still your friend no matter what" and Stiles doesn't know what to say or think towards Scott after he did that kind gesture.

Will The Night Terrors Ever Stop?

Another night terror is about to happen when the girl opens up her locker and the lights go out in the school hallway. The girl can see some black liquid coming out from one of the lockers on the same row as her and it opens up with a weird looking creature crawling towards her, up the side of the lockers. Lydia can see the terrified girl at her locker and notices that she is having problems because she can see the girl having one of her night terrors, so Lydia interrupts her and saves her from the living nightmare she was about to have.

This girl has some serious issues or shes been eating to much cheese before bed!

Lydia feels sorry for the girl, so she asks Deputy Jordan Parrish to make sure that her house is secure and safe, so Parrish agrees and checks out her bedroom and gives it the all clear. Parrish tells Lydia that he will watch the house for a couple of hours to make sure its safe and Lydia insists on joining him, but only if Lydia brings the right coffee for Parrish as he advises her to.

They obviously fancy each other!

When Parrish is outside, he looks towards the house with his binoculars and the girl who he thinks is inside the house asleep, is actually behind his car, looking at him while he gazes at the house. She then turns around and starts to walk in a weird and possessed kind of way.

At the end of the episode you see the girl terrified as she has woken up from what i say is a sleep walk and finds herself in the weird scientific laboratory where the 3 robotic looking scientist were. She can also see the robotic scientist people walk towards her as she is muttering to herself that it isn't real and she is still sleeping. But shes not! 2 of them grab her arms from behind and put her on the floor, while the other one inserts a very large needle into her neck,

A cut scene happens and shows the audience what her night terrors was caused by and it was all her own doing and she didn't even realise she was doing it.Also after being injected by the large needle, she slowly rises and looks up towards the camera and roars, showing her lovely sharp teeth and glowing yellow eyes.
It all makes sense now... I think! The creature from the first episode was covered in that black liquid which the girl vomited out in this episode. She also got injected by something which turned her in to something else...Maybe shes the same type of creature as the one from episode 1? But what will the robotic scientist have her do next?

Conclusion

Another great episode but had more of a story behind it as the girl and the robotic scientist are linked together, causing her to have night terrors and I'm still wondering what the robotic scientist have planned and how they will try and get rid of Scott and his pack.

Also Liam told Mason about being a ware-wolf and i'm very excited how that story will pan out for the two of them. Maybe he will try get involved but Liam wouldn't want him to?

Discussion

  1. What did you think of the overall episode?
  2. What was you favourite scene? & Why?
  3. What was you least favourite scene? & Why?
  4. How will Mason act now he knows the truth?
  5. Who are these robotic scientist?
  6. What are their plan, now they control the girl?
  7. How will Scott and the gang handle things?

Teen Wolf

Lydia, The Not So Wailing Banshee

The opener to Teen Wolf was certainly a random one, as we see Lydia standing in the shower, motionless and doesn't reply to the women who is standing yards behind her, shouting Lydia's name to get out of the shower. The women slowly walks up to Lydia who is still in the shower and calls her again, but nothing responds. When the women gets close enough to Lydia, she grabs her face and tilts it to the side but Lydia still doesn't respond,

In a cut scene Lydia is walked down a long hall which looks like a psychiatric hospital by two escorts guards, one is male and the other one is the women who shouted her name in the shower. The women guard thinks its all an act and that Lydia is pretending and says to the other guard, "up the dosage up to 3mls," as the male guard is preparing to stick her with a needle.

As Lydia is lying in bed motionless and staring up at the ceiling, the male guard says "I promise to be gentle," as he sticks the needle in to her arm. The guard is still speaking to motionless Lydia and says "Sorry about that, i couldn't find a good vein...Try again." He sticks the needle in to her arm for the 2nd time but with a bit more aggression as the guard is taking pleasure from it.

Lydia is still motionless to his voice and sense of touch and the man speaks out again, "I'll just have to find a bigger vein," tilting Lydia's head to the side for a better view of her neck and positioning the needle in a stabbing grip with in his hand. As he goes to stab her right in the neck Lydia screams out loud, smashing every light bulb and pushing the man back with force.

I was trying to think back to last season when she got put in a psychiatric hospital, but she never, did she? So how the hell did she get there? have i missed something? Anyway it was a very confusing opening scene of Teen Wolf. It was also jam packed with action as we see Lydia fighting off the guards with new fighting moves but i didn't want to get in to that right now, i'm just curios why she was there in the first place. Maybe it's another one of her dreams that come true or shes stuck in some kind of dream?

Episode 1 - Creatures Of The Night

Don't Go Inside The Dark, Creepy House

Deputy Jordan Parrish is complaining to the sheriff (Sheriff Stilinski) about that he has served all his duties on time but now has nothing to do and that he is stuck behind a desk doing nothing, while the power lines are out and people are in trouble.Parrish thinks he deserves to be out in the field helping the people in need, sot the Sheriff hands him a noise complaint form and tells him to check it out.

Parrish is now at large white house, with all the lights out and frightening lightening in the dark sky night. He bravely goes inside the creepy looking house with a flash light and calls out to see if anyone needs help, but no one replies back. While there is no reply, Parrish goes down in to the dark basement to see if anyone is down there, so he slowly looks around the basement and hears a knocking sound coming from a wall and Parrish walks up to the wall cautiously calling out as he eventually puts his ear to the wall...
Credit to Teenwolf.wikia.com
Parrish gets a knocking sound from the wall and he takes it as a reply for help, as he thinks someone is trapped with in the wall. Being the hero Deputy, he runs to his car and grabs a tool to hack open the concrete wall. When he starts bashing the wall he makes a small hole which seems to have something black dripping from the hole, on to the ground. The Deputy looks closer and the black liquid squirts on to him and something grabs him from inside the wall, which lifts him up as he is nothing.

The creature that lifts Parrish up in to the air, stabs him with his abnormal blue glowing claws and begins to glow the same colour eyes as Deputy Parrish. As the creature was about to leave the bloody mess of Deputy Jordan Parrish he asks where Scott it.

Very tense, thrilling scene we have here! Loved the background setting at the creepy house and how it all played out at the end for Deputy Jordan Parrish. Unfortunately for Parrish it wasn't so pleasant, as he nearly got chocked to death in mid air and got his chest torn open by the unusual creature.

before the creatures eyes glowed the same colour as Parrish's, they glowed bright blue which tells me when the creature stabbed him with his glowing blue claws, he must of absorbed the powers of Parrish, that's what i was thinking when i first saw this scene. We also know that the creature has a plan of attacking Scott as he asked where he was with in this scene.

Electricity Is Everywhere

Through the whole episode we see a bunch of scenes with a lot of electrical phenomena, like when we see Stiles, Scott and Liam get stranded on the side of the road after Stile's car breaks down, but when their trying to fix the car, a bunch of lightening bolts hits very close to them from where they are stand and making the three very confused and anxious to leave in a hurry.

Very strange on why there would be an electrical storm that would nearly hit the three on numerous of occasions. Have you not herd about how lightening doesn't strike twice in the same place?! It made me think if someone or something was controlling the electricity and has it in for the three of them.

Kira is stuck in traffic due to the "electrical storm" and she can't get any phone service to get in contact with her supernatural friends. Is this due to the electrical storm or did every phone service tower go down during the storm?

The weirdest scene was when Scott arrives home and sees the note he left his mother on the floor, which was originally stuck on the fridge. In the process of examining the note he left for his mother, he hears a bunch of things fall on the ground and it's the magnets falling off the fridge. Scott also notices the clock has stopped working and its beginning to make one of the hands twitch in a weird motion, and when Scott is looking up at the clock, all of the magnets that fell off the fridge suddenly rise from off the floor and back on to the fridge door.

I told you this was the weirdest scene... didn't i? Anyway, what sort of electrical storm does that to objects? So it must be directed or controlled in some way.

Scott Needs Help, Or Does he?

Now that Parrish has been saved by the sheriff and took back to the hospital to eventually heal himself, he tells Scott's mother and the sheriff that this creature is after Scott and that he might be able to absorb Scott's power, since he is a different creature after all. When Parrish is trying to explain the situation Scott faces, Liam over herd them in the hospital corridor and indistinctly runs to warn the others and Scott.
I thought this was going to be the alpha for the rest of the season when Parrish said that, but it was a bit soon to reveal the main villain this early in the series.

Scott and Kira have just met up with each other but the love couple get intruded upon by the creature, and now all 3 are fighting in the raining night. Scott gets chucked to the ground by the creature and says to Scott "A True Alpha? Where's your powers Scott?" Scott then turns to his alpha form and starts to throw some blows and scratches but Scott is thrown against the wall and ground. Kira unwraps her belt from around her waist that turns in to a sword and starts flying in with her belt sword and is unable to make contact with the creature.

While this fight is going on and the creature walks back up to Scott and a uninvited guest jumps in to save Scott and throws in a heavy punch from jumping of the wall and gets a couple of scratches in but is also chucked to the ground. Scott gets back up to fight the creature but is instantly lifted up by one arm, while his claws from his other hand gets inserted in to Scott's stomach and when you think its all over for Scott, he finds the inner alpha inside of him and fights back, breaking the creatures arm and making him run away injured.

Wow what a epic first fight scene for the first episode of season 5! I thought Scott was done for as you see his red glowing eyes go out as if he was about to die or something, but in that slight moment he found faith and the inner strength to fight back to make the creature flee in to the stormy night.

We also find out that the uninvited guest was a old friend of Scott's and Stiles from 4th grade, his name is Theo, but Stiles doesn't trust him one bit.

The Fate Of The Creature

The creature has returned from where he has come from but with a broken arm and a couple of scratches. He is talking to someone, asking for more power and to have more chances. Out come from the side, of the creature are 3 very tall robot looking beings with metal faces, metal hands and torso. The 3 metal faced beings reply to the creature, telling him that he has failed and no 2nd chances, and all 3 of them surrounds the creature while one holds a very long sword and sticks the creature in the chest with it.

The place the creature has just arrived at looks like a scientific lab, from what i can tell by the human sized tube containers and machinery that is around the facility. Could this be the place where the creature was created? Or where they have controlled the electricity?

The 3 of them look like they have a plan to create some havoc for Scott as they clearly wanted "obstacles" removed as they said to the failed creature. If the obstacles were removed, what was their next plan of action? Only Scott and his pack can stop them in their tracks.

Lydia's Other Mind

At the very ending of a very interesting episode of Teen Wolf, we see one more last look at Lydia in the psychiatric hospital, and it looks like shes talking to one of the twins Aiden. Aiden is asking Lyida "What happened to all your friends?" but Lydia doesn't believe its him. While she is denying anything happened to her friends, she is getting all kinds of flash backs of them all being killed or in bad situations. Aiden keeps asking what happened to her friends, but Aiden's voice begins to deepen and the true identity of the person asking the questions is revealed, as if Lydia has found the strength to see the truth.

I'm still confused about this part of the story, aren't you? Is she trapped in her own mind or something? At least we can see the person behind all the questions now.

Conclusion

Love this episode, the writers and the producers never fail to surprise me, as it was very confusing and thrilling in some parts and emotional in some others. I'm confused about the Lydia situation but i'm sure that will get revealed sooner or later and maybe she has to go on a quest to break out of the psychiatric hospital to save her friends.

The scientific robot beings are still mysterious but i think they will play a major part in the villain department and cause more havoc for Scott's pack.
