Teen Wolf: Season 5, Episode 3

Teen Wolf

Episode 3 - Dreamcatchers

Previously on Teen Wolf

We see Tracey, a struggling teenage girl who suffers with night terrors as we see her explaining to the school councilwomen and the oddest thing happens when she vomits black liquid all over her desk, which also includes a crows feather. As the episode goes on we see her terrors get more intense and see Tracey get tormented through out the episode.

There's also a new wolf in town and Stiles is having trouble in trusting him, so Stiles and Liam follow the new wolf Theo and shortly regret doing so because they stumble across him and his sisters grave. With all this being done, Scott already told Stiles not to do anything but they soon collide as tensions rise between the two.

Tracey's night terror's are getting worse and Lydia can see that she needs professional help but the school council won't do anything, so Lydia takes matters in to her own hands and asks Deputy Parrish to check out and watch her house for the night. Parrish thinks that everything is OK and that Tracey is sound asleep but really she is sleep walking through her nightmare and ends up in the worse place imaginable.

Episode 3 - Dreamcatchers

A Date With Revenge

Sheriff Stilinski is off duty for a change and getting ready for a date later that evening, but he's having his doubts as he hasn't been on a date in a while. While being consulted by his own son Stiles and friend Scott both tell him its a good idea and he should still go through with it. Stiles and Scott are very eager to find out who hes going on a date with but the sheriff won't give any clues away and says "A very beautiful women."

Outside of the office is Donovan who is handcuffed and being escorted by Parrish as hes getting ready for court because he got on the wrong side of Stilinski and put him in jail on his last warning, resulting in the life changing events that will happen to Donovan as his lawyer tells him that he might go to prison for 3 to 5 years but they will plead for 2 years. Donovan shouts Stilinski out of his office with rage and tells Stilinski that he's going to stab him to death but this doesn't phase the sheriff one bit.

What a psycho! I bet if that was any other normal person getting ready for a date, it would ruin their day if they got told they was going to get brutally murdered, i know it would play on my mind most of the day but it didn't even phase the sheriff. Also Stiles comes in with some humor towards the end to lighten the mood and says a joke towards Donovan which makes him even more angry as he try's to charge towards them both but the escort police had it under control.

Run Donovan, Run!

When Donovan and his lawyer are in the escort van on their way to plead for Donovan's sentence, the driver of the van is speeding very fast and the lawyer tells him to slow down but something is wrong with the driver as he moans in pain and complains about his hand. The driver tells the lawyer to take the wheel as he looks to be paralyzed and not able to drive the van. In the back of the van Donovan can see liquid formed goo that is dripping down from the roof and then the lawyer crashes the van in to a wall and they all come to a sudden stop.
Credit to MTV
One of the police escorts notices something climbing on top of the roof, as the van squeaks and can hear noises when the van moves, but the lawyer then looks out from the drivers window and says "Tracey?" Tracey, the girl with the night terrors is at the side of the van looking inside at them all as she is grunting and about to kill somebody. Tracey punches through the drivers window, splatters the drivers head with blood flying everywhere, while the policeman shoots off his shotgun towards her.
Credit to MTV
Donovan who managers to run away from the gruesome scene of the van, runs fast and as far away as possible, but falls to the ground as he hears the final screams of Tracey's father who she just killed. Donovan is terrified on what he see's next walking towards him as he see's the 2 robotic scientist come towards him, grabs him and use a drill-like device that drills down his ear as his eyes cover up with a silver substance.
Credit to MTV
I don't know if i would rather be killed by a sexy psycho or have a drill pushed down my ear, both sound very painful at least and very terrifying. At this point i was still trying to figure out what sort of creature Tracey is, as her eyes glow a different colour to all the other werewolves. As for the robotic scientist things, i think they just follow Tracey as she does all the dirty work for them and they come in with a weird device to probe their victims with.

Tracey Isn't A Wolf?

Scott and the rest of the packed find Tracey in their school but the situation is under control as she faints and they take her to Dr Deaton the veterinary. Dr Deaton explains to Scott, Stiles and Malia that her condition appears to be normal but Dr Deaton wants to make sure that she is contained and he puts Mountain Ash around the room (Powdered substance that blocks and exhibits control over Werewolves) and this makes Stiles anxious as he feels trapped with the creature they know as Tracey.

Dr Deaton is still examining Tracey as he put a scalpel to her arm, which she doesn't draw blood from as her skin seems to be a lot tougher and he can see something moving in her neck, "This is interesting" says Dr Deaton. Malia helps the Dr turn over Tracey so they can have a look at her back and they can also see something moving in her spine, which suddenly spits wide open as soon as the Dr touches it and splatters black substance all over Scott's and Dr Deaton's face. They all step back as they can see Tracey has developed a very long tail which she then whips all 4 of them with, resulting them to be paralyzed as Tracey runs through the Mountain Ash and outside of the vets office, "Kanima" says Scott as he lies on the ground motionless.

Remember in season 1 when Lydia's old boyfriend Jackson got scratched by Derek, who at the time was suffering by being poisoned by Wolfs Bane. Jackson thought he was going to become a wolf like Derek and Scott but then it went completely opposite and turned him into a giant lizard they call Kanima, well that's what Tracey is now.

Kanima Intrudes On The Date

Lydia and Kira have just finished up looking around Tracey's bedroom for evidence and Lydia figures out that Tracey is looking for the people who have been trying help her. Kira thinks she was looking for Lydia since she was the one who tried helping her back at school and Lydia agree's, but also says someone else was trying to help her as well, "My Mother" says Lydia, "Where is she?" says Kira, "On a date."

Oh My God, we finally know the biggest mystery of the episode, we found out who Stilinski is dating and its Lydia's mother Natalie! I'm kidding of course, but now we know what Tracey is up to and will they get there in time to save her mother and the rest of them?

Sheriff Stilinski is locking up at the police station while Natalie (Lydia's mother) waits for him, so they can go off to their date. While he locks up he notices one of the policewomen is lying on her desk motionless and he asks her what she is doing, she replies "I can't move." Lydia and Kira barge their way in to the police station and Lydia shouts "Tracey is coming for you!" Tracey is already there as they notice by looking up towards the ceiling with Tracey staring back at them with her yellow glowing eyes, sharp fangs and her waving poisonous tail.
Credit to MTV
Tracey jumps down from the ceiling, punching the gun out of the sheriffs hands and on to the floor. Kira gets her sword out and starts fighting with the creature as Lydia tells her mother to run, but the Kanima herd Lydia and so she whips her tail in a whirl and wounds Lydia in the side, making her bleed heavily and paralyzes her to the floor. Kira can see her injured friend fall to the ground and so she finds her inner power of Kitsune (Thunder Kitsune)  and chops of Tracey's tail with one swipe of her sword and she runs off injured.

Malia is the only one out of Scott, Stiles and Dr Deaton to move first and gets to the police station to help the others from Tracey. When she gets there, Malia can see everyone paralyzed on the floor and inured and Lydia tells Malia that Tracey has her mother in the basement and so off she goes to find them both. When Malia gets to the basement she follows the trail of blood coming from Tracey's chopped of tail and find her dragging Natalie on the ground. The two of themm fight it out around the room until Malia gets the best of her, bringing back Tracey from her unusual self.
Credit to MTV
Tracey is struggling to come to terms that her night terrors aren't real as Malia try's to explain to her but when she try's calming Tracey down, the robotic scientist come out of no where with one of them pinning Malia to the wall and the other injecting Tracey with more fluid from before. "Her condition is terminal" says one of the robotic scientist and they walk away to disappear into thin air, while Malia is shocked of what just happened.
Credit to MTV
That was all epic, intense and emotional all at once as we see Kira use her inner ability as the Thunder Kitsune, what ever that is! Also the fighting was amazing with Kira and Malia as they try to fight off Tracey, but it all seemed pointless towards the end as the robotic scientist injected her with more stuff, probably to heal her or to make her even stronger.

How do the robotic scientist work though? They just appear out of no where as if they were ghost or part of a dream but how can they be a ghost or a dream if they are physically real? AND please someone tell me what they are called because i have no idea and i just keep calling them "Robotic Scientist"

Conclusion

I thought the episode didn't have much story involved as it was more focused on what Tracey was and capable of doing. The whole episode was intense and full of fighting scenes which i loved and the mystery of the "Robotic Scientist" remains.

Not much of Theo involved but there were some scenes where he tried to get himself involved by asking to help but nothing further happened. We also see Mason get brought to the group as he now knows about the secret of werewolves and the many other supernatural beings that go on in Beacon Hills.

True Detective: Season 2, Ep 3

True Detective

Previously On True Detective

Frank Semyon tries speaking openly to his girlfriend about his dark past as child growing up with his father and things got hot for Frank as we see him get put under pressure by the business people, as they wont allow him to carry on with his plan since Caspar died, which is also troubling Frank.
Ray & Ani partner up to try and find the killer or killers of Caspar by looking round his personal properties and asking his psychiatric Doctor for information on him, but the two don't get very far. As for the newbie cop turned detective, Paul has his issues with his mother and girlfriend and leaves them both on bad terms for his new assignment with Ray & Ani and finds it hard fitting in with the new squad.
When Ray gets a lead from Frank and tells him to check out a property of Caspar's, he goes to the house and finds a murder scene but as soon as Ray enters the house he gets ambushed by a masked gunmen and shot twice by a shotgun, leaving Ray on the ground.

Episode 3 - Maybe Tomorrow

Ray's Lucid Dream

Country music at the local bar of Ray's and Frank's meet ups is the Lucid thinking of Ray's dream as we see the opening scene focus on a country singer in a baby blue country suit, lip syncing Conway's Twitty's "The Rose." Ray is sat down at the very same booth, where Ray and Frank have their discussions but only this time he isn't speaking to Frank, he's speaking to his own father who is dressed up in a sheriff's uniform.

Ray looks from the wanna-be country singer and looks across the table where he sees his father looking back at him, with his father saying "You have your father's hands" and Ray looks down at his his bloody knuckles and they look as if Ray was punching a wall to death. They both talk about how Ray was nervous and how he lacked grit, but then his father begins to tell a chilling story.

His father says "I see you, running through the tree's, your're small, tree's are like...Giants. Men are chasing you," Ray: "I'm Right Here." "You step out the tree's, you ain't that fast. Ahh son...They kill you...They shoot you to pieces!" Ray begins to look around all worried, followed by a question "Where is this?" his father replies with "I don't know, you were here first" and Ray looks down towards his torso and see's a bloody gunshot womb to his chest.

What a bizarre opening scene as it was all so very random and confusing, but from what i seen at the end of episode 2 with Ray getting shot, i thought he was dead and he was in hell...Maybe? Also why was his own father speaking to him like he wasn't his father, for example he says "You have your father's hands," that was just weird if i'm honest. The most chilling part of the scene was the story his father was explaining to him, it didn't make sense and who are "They?" I think its a memory from Ray of his father, maybe doing something bad or maybe its a warning for Ray.

Ray wakes up in a puddle of his own urine and music playing from the radio and its Conway Twitty- The Rose. Ray looks around the room of the house he was investigating the night before and lifts up his shirt and his torso is covered in rubber bullet wombs, which have broken a couple of ribs.

Wooo! He's alive! I'm glad that he's alive as i thought it would of been to soon to kill off one of the main characters of the show. From my previous True Detective post i thought he was going to be alive because he might be wearing a bullet proof vest but seems like i was wrong & right at the same time.

New Partnership

Because Ray is taking the day to get checked out by the doctors, this mean's Ani needs a new partner for the day for the investigation of Caspar's death. Paul & Ani drive to the Mayor of Vinci's mansion to find out any further information about Caspar. The two explain to mayor Chessani's wife that numerous phone calls where made to the mayors house but the wife explains to Paul that she has no trace of thought of any phone calls or if Caspar and the Mayor had any business together.

When Paul is asking the wife questions, Ani wonders off around the house and ventures upstairs to have a look around for some clues. She finds nothing until she hears screaming coming from one of the bedrooms to find the Mayors son, so the two take the time to ask him questions before the Mayor gets back home. Ani and Paul get no where with the Mayor's sons and so he kicks them both out as they don't have a warrant to search the house or ask further questions.

When Ani & Paul was asking him questions, he mentions that he does specialty events and that made me think that he might be some kind of pimp or organises sex events for clients. I added the two clues together with Caspar phoning the house and how he liked hookers or liked to watch them at least, so i thought Caspar and the Mayor's son were the ones who had business together and not with the Mayor.

Velcoro's  Dirty

Detective Ray Velcoro is all checked out and is already back to work, telling Mayor Chessani that Ani didn't find anything when her & Paul intruded in his house with out his consent. The Mayor is frustrated with Ani and also with Ray because the investigation is going no where and Ani is dragging the Mayor's personal life into the investigation, so Mayor Chessani tell's Ray that he wants Ani's badge and the Sheriffs badge, out of anger.

Ray mentions that the person who shot him wore a mask and he couldn't identify the shooter and took the tape out of the cam recorder, leaving no evidence for the detectives to find and all this makes the Mayor and the rest of the team frustrated.

Back at Ani's boss's office she is questioned on Velcoro and one of her superiors tells her that Velcoro is dirty and she wants him, meaning she wants enough evidence to take him down. she explains that they have a crooked Vinci cop and that they could leverage him for the investigation but Ani looks concerned as she doesn't seem up for the tasks because its not her job to bring in crooked cops but to find out the murderer of Caspar.

This part of the scene is a bit two faced if you asked me because we are seeing two different sides of the same law speaking about each other behinds each others backs, when Ray tells mayor information about Ani and Ani is getting told that Ray is crooked. This will only complicate the future relationship between the two detectives as Ani won't trust Ray anymore, making the investigation harder for them both.

Paying Old Friends Is A Bad Idea

From the last episode we know that Frank is having some money problems because of the deal he made with Caspar, which lost Frank millions of Dollars of his own money because Caspar is now dead. Frank pays one of his old business friends a visit at a construction site. His friend explains that he done his part of the deal and helped out Frank in the past but Frank wants 20% of the net profit from him every month because he is very desperate. Frank says "Things change" meaning that the situation has changed for Frank and now his friend.

Will Frank ever stop with his business plan? He's Ruthless!

Later that very same evening, one of Franks workmen turn up late at his hotel room and he has a very good excuse as he explains to Frank and takes him to the body of his old business friend he visited earlier. His friend had been brutally murdered the same way as Caspar did, with his eyes missing from his skull. Frank can't believe what he is seeing and is frustrated why anyone would do this to him, as he was a good man and didn't deserve it.

Frank starts to shout at his workmen saying "Who's coming after me?" and tells them all to ring who works or used to work for Frank because he wants to ask them questions. When he arrives at one of the clubs he used to help run, he asks the workers if they had anything to do with the murder but none of them comply as they think they don't need to answer him. One of the main bosses who now runs the crew and the club thinks that Frank has gone soft and no longer has it in him to be tough and the two of them fist it out in the kitchen.

They begin to brawl in the kitchen of the club with both crews surrounded them and Franks beats the day light out of him, knocking him to the ground. As soon hes on the ground, Frank gets on top of him and pulls his gold plated teeth out with a pair of pliers one by one, as the people look at Frank as a mad man.

I said that Frank is Ruthless but this takes it to another whole level. The guy just knocked out someone twice the size of him and pulled his teeth out in front of his own crew, one by one! The guy doubted that Frank could be the monster he once was and you could see in Franks eye's he didn't want to go to that dark place again but he eventually did and beat the crap out of the guy. This made me think on how Frank used to be and why he changed to try and be a better person? I hope they show some flash backs to his life.

Paul Goes Solo

Detective Paul is wondering the streets on his own asking every hooker on every corner questions as he shows them a picture of Caspar. The hookers don't give him any information and Paul is thinking about giving up for the night, until one man see's Paul asking questions and he knows the man in the picture, so he decides to help Paul and point him in the direction of the nightclub he saw Caspar last. Paul thanks the man before venturing off to the unknown nightclub but the man stops him in his tracks and explains to Paul that they won't talk to him and they probably wont let him in the club.

Paul is now inside the nightclub with the man who just helped him, looking around all anxious and cautious around the room to suddenly bumping in to Frank at the very same club he just pulled the mans gold teeth from, (Talk about coincidental.) and the two stare each other down for a few seconds to then walking away from each other. Paul goes in to full detective mode again, asking a bunch of questions about Caspar to one of the people in the club. He explains to Paul that Caspar would like to watch people have sex and gives Paul the name of one European girl who works for a private company that runs parties for rich people.

I think this part of the scene is linked up with Mayor Chessani's son because one of the men mentions that the girl did private parties for rich men and the son is an event organiser as he explained to Ani and Paul. The last girl to see Caspar was European and Mayor Chessani's wife is also European. So either the wife knows something or the son knows something, time will soon tell.

They Almost Had Him

Ani and Ray are back investigating with each other and both are at a house asking questions for the investigation as usual. When things go normal as they should do when asking questions, they hear a blaze of fire and follow the orange flickering light that is fire coming from their car, someone set their car on fire when they were asking questions at the house. When they both see their car on fire, Ray can see the person who done it and they are wearing a white mask to cover their face, so Ray shouts them and they begin to chase him on foot.

Ani gets in front of Ray and climbs over a fence to chase down the man who is running through a homeless camp that is set under the highway bridge, while Ray struggles to get over the fence with his broken ribs, he still runs with determination. Ani and the perpetrator run through the camp knocking anyone who gets in front of them to the ground, while Ray is far behind, he takes a detour and he finally meets back up with Ani just in time, as there is a huge truck coming her way as she pulls out her gun to shoot, but the suspect gets away and Ray pushes Ani to save her from the oncoming truck. Ani thanks Ray for saving her and Ray replies with "If you want to thank me, tell me what State has on me."

Well i think that's the most thrilling scene we have seen in the last 3 episodes of True Detectives, with all the fire blazing car, the intense chase through the dark homeless camp and we nearly seen someone shoot their gun BUT!... They never did. Plus we now all know that the person who shot Ray is toying with them by setting their car on fire and making them chase them just for the fun of it and they could also be the killer of Caspar.

Ray also knows that hes being investigated by the state police and he tries to get Ani to tell him what evidence they might have. I'm excited what the next episode will have install for us as we might see tensions brew between Ani, Ray and the State Police.

Conclusion

I would say this has to be my favourite episode by far as its beginning to make more sense to me as i link up some of the information i gathered from the episode. I think that Mayor Chessani's wife or son are big characters to come as i think they are part of something big but hiding it very well, making it one big mystery.

I'm glad to see another side to Frank as he shows the audience how ruthless he can actually be when he wants something, telling us he had a very dark past and i hope to see more action from him and even a couple of flash backs from his past.

The 3 detectives, i think will build up more friction between them all as the series goes on but i have no idea how it will turn out. Will it be good or bad for them?

Minions

Minions
Summary

The Minions find them self with out a villain to serve and look up to, so the minions fall in to a deep depression, but one minion named Kevin has a plan, along side the teenage minion Stuart and the lovable Bob embark off in to the open world to find a new evil boss to follow.

Thoughts & Experiences

In the beginning credits and intro of the movie we see the cute, yellow beings called Minions as a singular living cell and they evolve in to the cute, silly and dumb beings as we see in the above picture. It just doesn't show us them evolving but how they seek out for the most dominant, evil leader to follow and to look up to. In the process of seeing the minions fail each time they find a suitable leader, they then look for the next one and the same thing happens over and over again.

As time goes by the Minions fall in to a deep depression because they can't find anyone evil enough to fit in with and so one brave Minion named Kevin comes up with a plan to go out in to the world and he wouldn't come back with out the biggest and baddest villain for the Minions to serve. Whilst Kevin announced his plan to the tribe, he needed help, one of the Minions named Bob was very eager to go with Kevin, but Kevin thought that Bob wasn't strong enough for the dangerous journey ahead.

One of the other Minions volunteered with out knowing as he put his hand up whilst he was asleep by another Minion, which he didn't know what he was getting himself into. Kevin now had a companion called Stuart and had to pick one more for the road, so he picked Kevin since he was the only one enthusiastic enough to go alongside them. Kevin felt pride, Stuart felt...Hungry mostly and Bob was frightened of the journey ahead, and they were off to find their new boss!

I loved the beginning opener credits of Minions as it explained briefly how they came along and what their purpose in life was, to find the most meanest, baddest leader there is. It then went through different time periods of the Minions lives and shown us the many great leaders and how they came to fail them as the Minions would accidentally kill them with their stupidity. It was a funny opener for all ages to enjoy and explained the rest of the story with in the first 10 minutes.

Meet The Nelsons

When the Minions decide to leave the city of New York and travel to Orlando for the Villain-Con, where they will find hundreds and hundreds of villains in one place at a time, the Minions decide it will be a good idea to hitch hike to Orlando. After many failed attempts at hitching a ride to the convention, one particular family stop to offer the Minions a ride and they are the Nelsons.

Credit to gmovies,ph
The Minions join the family on the car ride and the 3 yellow naive creatures don't know what they are getting themselves in to, when the Nelson family stop the car and the father, Walter Nelson says "Who wants to stretch their legs?" and when the family are about to leave the car, the whole family put on ski masks and loaded up their guns "OK Nelsons, lets do this!" The Nelson family rob a bank while the Minions are waiting in the car and come back, to drive off like nothing happened, except there is a bunch of police cars after them.

The Nelson's have gotten themselves in to a police car chase, while Walter Nelson is shooting paintball bullets at the police car window screens to blind their vision. Kevin & Stuart who are in the back of the car fighting over a rocket launcher, accidentally shooting the rocket out of the back window, which destroys a telephone post and brings down a water tower that stops the police cars in their tracks, as they all crash in to the destroyed water tower.

Madge Nelson has her suspicions about the minions and asks why they're going to Orlando and they all find out they're going to the same place, Villain-Con.

I thought the Nelson's was a funny asset to this scene as it was very random and entertaining to watch. The whole family was evil, including the their baby as we see the baby rob the bank with the rest of the family and threaten Bob with a hand grenade as a joke.  The way Kevin & Stuart blew up the telephone pole and brought down the water tower with the rocket launcher was the funniest because Walter asks "who did that?" as if he was angry and the two minions both denied doing it, but then says "That was awesome!" and both minions try and get the praise from him.

Meeting Scarlett Overkill

The Nelsons and the three Minions arrive at Villain-Con and part ways as soon as they get inside, so the Minions start to wonder around as they look for a villain to follow. Stuart and Bob are looking around and they are not pleased with some of the wanna-be villains but Kevin stumbles upon the key note speaker convention, staring the star of the show Scarlett Overkill. Scarlett Overkill is the worlds first female villain and is the most famous, ruthless and successful villain there is.

Scarlett Overkill makes a dramatic entrance as she flies on to the stage with her red, rocket powered dress and explains to the audience that she is looking for "new Henchmen" and the 3 minions and the crowed go crazy with excitement. Scarlett then explains who ever can take the trinket out of her hand will be her new henchmen and the audience over crowed the stage as they all try and get the trinket out of her hand, but Scarlett is a excellent fighter and fights off her audience one by one.

The 3 Minions get caught in the fighting and the other villains pile on top of Scarlett with the 3 Minions underneath them all, but Scarlett uses her dress to blast them all off her and she realises she is holding a stuffed bear, Bob's bear in fact. Scarlett can see one of the Minions cough up the diamond and is amazed and also announces to the crowed "Meet my new henchmen, Minions!"

Can you imagine if Villain-Con was real! Maybe it is real but its secret, like the one in the Minions Movie...On a serious note the Villain-Con scene was excellent as we see different types of villains that are entertaining to watch as we see some of them fail with their time machine inventions and we also see Bob try out to be a villain at one of the convention stands, trying to scare the lady with his stuffed bear.

The Mission

The 3 Minions land in England where Scarlett Overkill lives, and gives the Minions a house tour around her Villain mansion. She then explains what the Minions have to do for her as she stops near a painting of Queen Elizabeth and tells the Minions she wants the Queens crown, so she can rule England and if the Minions succeed they will get "Respect, Power and...Banana!"

The Minions are now in Scarlett's husbands weapon laboratory where 'Herb' hands Bob his stretch suit which able's Bob to stretch his limbs at great length, Kevin gets a Lava Lamp that shoots real lava and Stuart gets a Hypno Hat that he can Hypnotise anyone and control them in anyway he wants. Kevin, Stuart & Bob are now well equip and begin their first mission at the Tower Of London, where the Queens Crown is held.

After fleeing the Tower Of London with the Queen and followed by her men, the Minions get chased through the city of London on the Queen's horse and carriage. After the Minion crash the carriage in to a tree, the police are soon behind them and begin to chase the Minions on foot. Kevin and Stuart get caught by the police, while Bob runs on top of a large stone and pulls out a sword from with inside the stone, making the policemen shocked and bow down on their knees, as Bob has become the king of England by pulling out the sword, from the legendary tale of Sword In The Stone.

Being a British person myself i found this hilarious as they joked about our tradition and the royalty ways of life, as we see Bob pull out the sword that made him the new King Of England. Only if being made King was that easy, i would travel down to the "Sword In The Stone" right now and pull it out myself, if it was real that is.

Scarlett Overkill just seen Bob get crowned the new king of England on the news and she wasn't happy at all, so she pays them a visit at Buckingham Palace. Scarlett is angry towards the 3 lovable Minions and tells them that it was supposed to be her dream to become Queen, so Bob comes up with an idea to change the law and to make Scarlett the new Queen Of England. Oh No!

Scarlett, The Evil Queen

Now that Scarlett is about to become the future Queen Of England, she has to get rid of the Minions that she thought betrayed her, so she leads them down to the dungeon that is underneath Buckingham Palace and waiting is a torture room. The Minions don't know its a torture room and begin to have fun on the torture machinery and tools and Herb joins in.

Scarlett and Herb leave the Minions down in the dungeon while they are off to get crowned Queen and king of England. The 3 Minions find a tunnel that leads down in to the sewage system and the 3 of them walk through the dark tunnels until they find a way out that is close enough to Westminster Abbey, where the coronation of the crowning is taking place.

When the Minions arrive at Westminster Abbey the front doors are locked and guarded, so they decide to climb the building to find a way in from the roof. As soon as the Minions find a way in the 3 of them automatically get in a sticky situation as the Bob & Stuart are being chased around by a bee on top of a chandelier, which is unscrewing itself while the coronation is being present below. The Chandelier then falls from the ceiling and lands on Scarlett, but when everyone thought she was crushed to death, her dress saved her and she blasts her way from the wreckage.

Kevin, Stuart & Bob are now being chased through the streets of London by the villains that attended the coronation of Scarlett's crowning. The 3 of them get split up as they get chased and Bob and Stuart get caught by Scarlett as Kevin can see her broadcast it on the news. Its all up to Kevin to come up with a master plan to rescue his two friends and he does! He plans to sneak in to Herbs lab and get loads of weapons but when the villains know hes inside the lab they all try to break inside to get to Kevin. The villains are now inside the lab and Kevin panics and jumps in the nearest machine and he accidentally turns it on, turning him in to a giant Minion.

So Kevin is now a giant... How cool is that?! Nothing can stop him now surely, but saying that he is naive and stupid at times so anything could go wrong.  I was trying to think how could it be possible for one minion to save his friends from two genius villains, it was impossible but now hes a giant i think he has a good chance now.

Minion Vs Villain

Kevin the big lovable giant scares away the villains that just tried chasing him down and off his goes through the city of London, but he gets stuck between some of the buildings because he is a giant of course and things get a littl to tight for Kevin. He eventually squeezes his way through the tall buildings and saves Bob and Stuart from the explosive dynamite that they were just tied to by picking them both up with his giant hands.

Scarlett can see Kevin rescue his friends and this makes her furious with rage and turns her dress in to a huge rocket, she then fly's up in the sky and says to Kevin "That's your plan? Make yourself a bigger target?"  While her dress unravels two lava rockets on each side that aims towards Kevin and his friends.  While the giant Minion fights it out with Scarlett and her rocket powered dress, thousands of  Minions spot Kevin and its the rest of the tribe.

Scarlett can see the giant Minion and the rest of the tribe and turns her dress in to a huge nuclear rocket and shoots it towards the Minions. Kevin catches the rocket with force and fights against it, but then decides to swallow it so it protect the rest of the tribe. Scarlett and Herb begin to fly off as they think they have won but Kevin's giant hand grabs hold of the flying couple and tags along the ride and flies up in to the sky with Scarlett and Herb, to explode over the city of London.

The Minion tribe begin to whelp and cry as they think Kevin has just exploded, but Kevin surprisingly floats down on his giant dungarees that have turned in to a parachute and Kevin is alive and normal sized again.

Well that a funny and random battle from a giant Minion and a supersized dressed Villain. The Minion tribe should of helped i thought to show off more humor of the Minions but i guess the battle was funny enough for me. When Kevin survived the explosion, shouldn't Scarlett and Herb survived as well?

A New Chapter

The Minions have been rewarded by the Queen Of England for their bravery and for saving the nation from Scarlett and her Villain ways but when they think it is all over, Scarlett and Herb come back and steal the Queens crown. When they are running away with the Queens crown in the crowed of people, they suddenly get frozen by an ice gun.

This is where the Minions found their new boss. He was Cunning! He was Evil! He was Perfect! He was... Despicable!

If you have seen the original movies then you know who their new boss is. This gave me goosebumps and it was amazing how he sorted out the best villain in the world as it was nothing and to easy for him to do, which catches the eyes of thousands of Minions.

Conclusion

I really did enjoy watching Minions as it was original and unique and loads of funny scenes. I would say that this movie is more for kids and not for the family as it is very childish with all the baby talking Minions and i think adults would not enjoy or understand the concept of the movie, being an adult myself i did enjoy it but i would't watch it again as i now know it wasn't the type of movie for me.

On the other hand if you're a parent and want to make your child happy, then i would recommend this movie as they would enjoy it a lot!

Under The Dome: Season 3, Episode 3

Under The Dome

Previously On Under The Dome

Last weeks episodes was truly confusing and intriguing at most, but also it was one big huge mystery until episode 2 ended as it opened the viewers eyes, to actually understand what was gong on. In Episode 1 we see the people of Chester's Mill a year after the Dome happened and what they did with in that year to move on from the horrific event, with Barbie working with a special Ops military and grieving over the death of Julia. When Barbie returns to Chester's Mill for the memorial for the people who died Under The Dome, Barbie is trying to fit the missing pieces together as he is seeing familiar faces that he shouldn't be seeing and seeing people return from the dead as he saw Junior die along side with Julia.

Julia & Junior discover tunnels leading to some kind of purple cocoons which have the people of Chester's Mill trapped inside, giving them the virtual world they think they are all living back at Chester's Mill memorial, that's why Barbie is seeing familiar faces and cant make sense of it all. With all this going on in the tunnels, Melanie finds them both and puts Junior in one of the cocoons and off he goes to the virtual world, while Julia confronts Melanie about the cocoons and the egg, big Jim intrudes on them both to destroying the egg, freeing the people inside the cocoons to eventually escaping the underground tunnels.

Episode 3 - Redux

Same Town, New Faces

After a normal life in the virtual world of Chester's Mill which everyone believed it was real, no one questioned the new face of the new towns psychiatrist Christine Price. We see Christine and Barbie 's new girlfriend Eva help each other out in the cocoons as if they knew each other before everything happened. Now the two characters are in a hotel room discussing that they have been inside the cocoons for only 3 weeks, which they thought was one entire year.

Christine & Eva are talking about how they went looking for the egg and all of a sudden the two was in a virtual reality world in Chester's Mill, that Eve fell in love with Barbie and they were about to have a baby together. Eva thought it was all so real and how it still feels real to her even now she is out of the virtual world.

How heart broken would you feel if you was Eva? Falling in love with someone you thought you was with for an entire year and was about to have a baby together, to all of a sudden to be woken up from the purple cocoons that made her believe in this fairy tale. Also have you ever had an amazing dream before and thought it was real and then you wake up to realise it was a dream? that's how i think Eva feels but with more emotional attachment towards her experience.

I'm also wondering why the two of them were looking for the egg in the first place and why Christine seems to think she knows whats going on, more than Eva does.

Christine is now back down in the tunnels speaking to Melanie about who should be the Queen of the egg on who touched it last. Melanie said she was the first one to touch it 25 years ago but Christine tells her that the connection was broken off as soon as she died. Christine also blames Melanie for not protecting the egg when they were in the cocoons and tells Melanie to kill Julia if she comes looking for her.

OK, so Christine knows Melanie how? The two must of had brief contact before Christine got put inside the cocoon so the two hatched a plan together and all this might get revealed in future episodes. I seriously need some light shedding down on the series as i have know idea where they both stand with each other and what Christine is planning next.

Congratulations Junior

The virtual world changed everyone but changed Junior the most as he thought his life was on track because he thought his abusive father was dead and Junior thought he was his own man, but all that was shattered as Big Jim saved him from the cocoon that brought him back to reality. Ironic? When Junior sees his father waiting for him outside of his cocoon, Junior pushes him away as if he can't believe he is still alive and he would rather be back in the cocoon.

After Juniors virtual experience came to a end, he is struggling the most and is considering killing himself as we see him kneeling in front of the Dome with a gun to his head. Luckily uncle Sam finds him and persuades him to not kill him self by saying "congratulations Junior, you've just hit rock bottom"

In the last couple seasons of Under The Dome i didn't really like Junior because he was weird and abusive to his girlfriend Angie, but i can see why he was like that, its because of his abusive father. He would always put Junior down and bully him mentally and physically, and i can see why Junior would prefer the virtual life.

A Love Triangle

In the previous episodes it mostly shown us the stories of the characters and how they lived their life a year after the dome happened. We see Norrie become a sorority sister and Joe, well Joe is just Joe. The two of them meet back at Chester's Mill but Joe can tell that Norrie is different and that the sorority life has changed her for the bad because her personality has changed and now she has started smoking. There is a lot of friction between them both, so Norrie goes to see Hunter at his hotel room and both of them start flirting and are about to kiss, until they are both woken up from the virtual world that Big Jim has just saved them from.

Ever since getting back from he virtual world, Norrie and Joe still have a lot of friction between them both but Joe is trying to keep the flame alive and he is trying his absolute best to be in her good books as he tries to be helpful with her and hangout as much as possible, but when the two are alone, Hunter comes along and Norrie follows him like a lost puppy every time and Joe has his suspicions about them both.

If i was Joe i would of gathered by now that Norrie obviously likes Hunter and something might of happened in the virtual world with them both, or maybe that's just me be paranoid but i would have m suspicions like Joe does. To be honest with you i am not liking the new Norrie and her whole new persona she has.

Hunter & Norrie go to the house where all the supply food has been stashed, so the people of Chester's Mill have something to eat, and when the two of them are looking around the house for food they start talking and messing around as if they don't care, and begin to play loud music through out the house. Joe enters the house where Norrie and Hunter are supposed to be looking for food but Joe can hear the loud music and the two of them laughing, so Joe turns off the music and complains to them both on how they should respect the house as he knew the owner very well and that they are very inconsiderate and storms out of the house, dropping a bunch of flowers on the table he wanted to give to Norrie.

OK now i hate Norrie & Hunter because they are very annoying characters to watch as if they don't care and both of them are very inconsiderate as both of them try and have fun in a dead women's house. Plus Norrie now thinks shes better because shes in a sorority and probably thinks she deserves a better boyfriend and hops on to the nearest thing that gives her attention, which makes me want to punch Hunter in the face!.. I'm joking, but seriously they are both annoying me in this episode.

A Lovers Tiff

Eve decides to show up at the town hall of Chester's Mill and surprise Barbie as he is having a fight with Big Jim until hears someone shout "Dale" and its Eve. Barbie is shocked as ever because he thought Eve was fake or wouldn't ever see her again and Julia can see that Barbie is shocked so she asks Eva "Who are you?" but she storms out of the building.

Well that's awkward! Might as well be on a date with Julia and then see your fake pregnant girlfriend show up out of know where.

When everyone got assigned new tasks to do around the town, including Julia and Barbie to go down to the tunnels to find Melanie for answers, Julia brings up the subject of Eva and Barbie explains to her that he "mourned her" and that "time went past" and he fell in love with Eva but it "Feels like yesterday" as he says to Julia.

I really do feel sorry for Julia as she loves Barbie so very much but Barbie is in the hot seat as his virtual girlfriend shows up out of no where and makes things awkward. Is it possible to love two women at once? Who knows, but i would prefer if Barbie went back to Julia as i like her character and i don't trust Eva one bit!

Melanie's Dead?

Julia and Barbie are climbing out of the tunnel on narrow climbing ladder and when Julia gets to the top, she gets aggressively pulled out of the tunnel and the ladder breaks with Barbie still attached, making him fall back to the bottom of the hole he just tried climbing out of. As soon as Barbie is able to climb out of the hole, he sees Christine with a bloody knife with Melanie and Julia on the floor. He asked what just happened and Julia responds "She just saved my life"

I think this was part of Christine's plan as she told Melanie to kill Julia but Christine wanted to double cross Melanie an gain the trust from Barbie and Julia, so she killed Melanie in front of them both so they can see her as one of the good guys. Orrrr Melanie might still be alive and they were both running the same plan to throw them both off course and get them by surprise in the next circumstances.

Also when Barbie is burying Melanie who he thought was his sister, he mentions that now Melanie is dead that they will never know the truth. I initially thought that she might of killed Melanie to stop others finding out and that Barbie might be on to Christine and her ways.

Conclusion

Episode 3 was more awkward and entertaining to watch as we see Barbie and his two girlfriends find out they both still exist. I'm also excited on how Joe will react when he finds out about Norrie & Hunter, I'm hoping he puts Hunter in his place and dumps Norrie so she comes running back to him. The biggest mystery for me is Christine and what she has planned for the people of Chester's Mill but i'm sure her story will get revealed in a dramatic way.

We also see Big Jim find out the truth about Christine on a cam recorder of her discovering the egg which makes him leave Chester's Mill to a remote island across the river. I think hes hoping things will go bad for Chester's Mill and everyone will look up to him again, to fix things as he was be right all along.
