Actors & Actresses

This blog post will be some of my favorite Actors & Actresses. I will include why i like them,what films they have done or doing and what the future holds for them. This list wont be in any order, it will be randomized.

Heath Ledger - Heath is one of our well known actors in our generation to date. His first big role was introduced to us in 1999 with his romantic comedy "10 Things I Hate About You."

Since then he starred in some of the biggest movies such as "The Patriot," "A Knights Tale," "Broke Back Mountain," & his most infamous role as the Joker in " The Dark Knight."

Ever since i watched "10 Things I Hate About You" i knew this man was a great actor and he would go on to do other great movies, which he did. The thing i love about heath is that he took his work very serious, so he would get his role perfect.

Unfortunately Heath Ledger died in his New York apartment in 2008 due to his abuse to his prescription drugs, as the paramedics told the press.  I think the stress from the intensity of his acting role as the Joker was to much & he accidentally took to many drugs for relaxation, but we will never know.

R.I.P Heath Ledger.

Jennifer Lawrence - Jennifer is one of the newest fan favorite actresses in our generation first appearing as Katniss Everdeen in the Box Office film "The Hunger Games."

Now she has captured the heart of the world as she has starred in many other big titles such as "X-Men" as Mystique, "American Hustle," two more "Hunger Games" to add to the collection & her Oscar winning performance movie "silver Linings Playbook."

I first noticed Jennifer in The Hunger Games & fell in love with her ever since and i think most people did. She is funny, crazy, down to earth & a very talented actress. These are the very few reasons why she is in my list, but one of my favorite reasons is that she hasn't had any acting education or experience like most actors would while growing up. This makes her stand out from the rest and she could possibly be the biggest actress for years to come as she has multiple Oscar nominations at 23.

I think Jennifer has a very bright future ahead as she is already filming some of the biggest titles in the industry & will carry on doing so if she carries on acting the way she is.

Mathew McConaughey - Mathew, i think was one of the most underrated actors in the last ten years. When he first started acting most of his films was a bit rubbish & his acting wasn't at his best like it is now, but in the last 5 years or so he has really come out his shell and shown the world what he is capable of.

If i mention some of the films Mathew has appeared in from 1992 to 2008 i don't think you will know any of them, but from 2008 you might recognize him in such movies like "fools Gold" staring with Kate Hudson who rumored to been a couple while filming the movie, "Ghost Of A Girlfriends Past," "Lincoln Lawyer," "Magic Mike," his Oscar winning performance "Dallas Buyers Club" and his classic Sci-Fi film just released "Interstellar."

I think more people began to  notice Mathew back in 2012 when he was in a couple of films called "Mud" & "Lincoln Lawyer" as he was took more serious as an actor and not just some comedy joke. I like Mathew as an actor because he is one of the most talented and focused actors out there making him a Oscar winner & he carries out performing his previous self.

I think for the future for Mathew is very good and could possibly win another Oscar if picked for the right role and movie.

Angelina Jolie - Angelina Jolie is one of the most famous women to grace the planet as she is a great actor, has an amazing smile and married to Brad Pitt making them the power couple of Hollywood.

Angelina became known after her famous role in "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" making her a instant hit with film enthusiasts & console game fans around the world. She has also appeared in other big titles such as "Mr & Mrs Smith" Where she met her husband, Kung Fu Panda" 1&2, "Wanted," "Salt," "The Tourist," & her last release " "Maleficent."

Most people should agree with me that she is one of the most sexiest actresses on earth and she is a great actor to watch. I think she has a very bright future in acting and now directing as she has just released her first directed box office film called "Unbroken."

Brad Pitt - It was stupid of me not to include Brad Pitt after mentioning his gorgeous wife Angelina Jolie, but here he is on my list as i think he is a living legend.

Brad Pitt captured the hearts of many females around the world after his Oscar nominated movie "Fight Club" as Tyler Durden. Ever since then he has been a huge hit on the cinema screen starring in "Oceans Eleven"including the other franchise films, "Troy," Inglorious Bastards," "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button," "World War Z," & the Oscar winning film " 12 Years Slave."

Brad Pitt is a living legend to many people around the world and has proven that with his acting skills and big titles movies. He will carry on making big movies for the future to come, including a sequel "World War Z 2" which i am very excited about since i am a massive zombie fan!

Charlize Theron - Charlize Theron is one of my favourites, mainly because i have a huge crush on her and want to marry her some time in the future. Seriously though, she is very a very talented actress and needs more recognition for her work as i think she is another underrated actress.

Charlize is a South African born actress who made it big in Hollywood for her roles such as "Italian Job" back in 2003 where i went to the cinema to watch! "Hancock" starring with Will Smith, "Snow White & The Huntsmen," "Prometheus," and her latest role "Mad Max; Fury Road."

I don't think she has done much well known films for the viewers to remember but she is incredible at what she does and i hope to see her in some movies in the future.

As for her future she will be acting still but who knows if her movies will be mega big like Mad Max. I do know that she is starring in the sequel to Snow White which will be good for her loyal fans.

Robin Williams - If you want to talk about a great actor and probably one of the biggest actors in history ever, then Robin Williams is your man. Robin is undeniably the funniest actor we have seen in the last 30+ years, starring in comedy films & stand up comedy. 

His film portfolio is huge with all types of film's and to many favorites to count, so i'll just name my favorite films i have seen him in, here it goes. "Hook," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Jumanji," "Jack," "Good Will Hunting" which he won a Oscar for, "Bicentennial Man," "The Big Wedding." If you haven't seen any of these movies yet, then stop reading and watch these films to see how great of an actor Robin Williams was.

Sadly for his future, there is no future for Robin as he committed suicide back in 2014. For what ever reason he had for his actions he must of been very sad, but it takes a great man to make millions of people smile and laugh while hiding the fact he might of been depressed.

R.I.P Robin Williams.

Emma Stone - Emma Stone is the gorgeous red head that everyone loves, typically being the girl next door you always fancied. Everyone also loves some of the movies she has been in including myself. she is a fairly new actress, starting her career off in 2005.

Emma soon got her recognition as her role in "Superbad," the high school comedy we all loved to watch. since then she gained the attention from many directors and starred in many big movies such as "Ghost Of A Girlfriends Past," "Zobieland," "Easy A," "Crazy Stupid Love," "The Amazing Spiderman" 1&2 bu sadly got killed off in the 2nd and the nominated winning film "Birdman."

I think for Emma's future will be more pleasing to her as her past has been very quiet so far, but that doesn't mean she can't act. She has already been set to do a sequel to her animation film "The Croods."

Ryan Goslin - Ryan is one of the biggest heart throbs for people around the world. He has the looks, the money, the charm and great acting skills.

Ryan starred in many films and TV in the 90's but gained his reputation and got his good looks noticed when he starred in the film "The Notebook" along side Rachael McAdams back in 2004. He is still on the upcoming in the film industry bringing us many films like "Drive," "Crazy,Stupid,Love," "Gangster Squad," and "Only God Forgives."

I like Ryan's acting because it seems to come at ease to him, he seems to be very relaxed and natural when hes on and off screen. The more natural he looks the better his acting.

For the future of Mr Goslin looks to be a good one with upcoming films such as "Bladrunner," "The Nice Guys," & "La La Land."

Rachael McCadams - Rachael McAdams is a sexy, serious actor and is know for her dramatic love scenes, screaming and emotional crying which gets the attention of many film directors. She is the type of women you would want to be married to, but something tells me she maybe a little bit crazy, but i don't know why?

Rachael starred in the teen movie "Mean Girls" back in 2004 getting her the attention from many directors such as Nick Cassavetes who filmed "The Notebook," probably the best love story of our time. After Notebook she has been seen as a romantic icon in the film industry landing her roles in "Wedding Crashes," "Married Life," "The Time Travelers Wife," "Midnight In Paris," "The Vow," "To The Wonder," "About Time." This is actor has serious passion which gives her a romantic reputation that she deserves.

Also starring in mystery crime films like "Sherlock Holmes" 1&2, she has now landed her 3rd movie in the Sherlock franchise making her future very promising.

Leonardo DiCaprio - If you have a conversation about movies you automatically think of this man, Leonardo DiCaprio. I don't why but its probably because he is the face of Hollywood and why shouldn't he? He started acting at a young age giving him instant recognition from the public and directors, he continued being consistent with his working giving him a huge portfolio of films and being the biggest heartthrob to all you lovely females out there.

As Leo is consistent with his work, he slowly built his portfolio to be one of the best in the world. As the years went on and Leo got wiser, Leo decides what role is perfect for him, making him pick 1 or 2 movies per year. I think this is because he is a perfectionist at his work and he wants to get that gold statue trophy he desires

Since Leo's portfolio is humongous and to many movies to name i will list my all time favorites.
"Romeo & Juliet," "Titanic," "The Beach," "Gangs Of New York," "Catch Me If You Can," "The Departed," "Shutter Island," "Inception," "Django Unchained," "The Great Gatsby," and "The Wolf Of Wallstreet."  told you he has a massive portfolio!

As for Leo's future i can see him winning an Oscar we all know he dreams of every night, since he has been nominated 4 times already. You can see how determined he is with his work ethnic, determination and his nip picking of films to act in per year, making sure he gets the right role to win that golden Oscar he truly deserves.
